Stampin with Liz Design: Painted Harvest Card!

The autumn has really started in Holland, brr, enough rain and wind to simply lock yourself in your craftroom for a while! With the heathing on, I did just that this morning. All though I must say the falling, coloured leaves do have something, I personally can't wait untill spring arives again!

This weeks theme at Global Design Project is a sketch, Case the Designer, a fun card by Brian King. I took it as a startingpoint for my card today. To stay within the autumn spheres, I used the amazing Painted Harvest stamp set! Certainly one of my favourites from the autumn/winter catalogue!

The base for my card is made from Early Espresso Cardstock with on top of that the gorgeous dark paper that you can find in the Wood Textures Design Paper Series. You probably seen me use it before, I just love it! I stamped the beautiful text and flowers from the set on the rectangle. You can build the flowers up in different colors! Love the effect it creates!

I kept the card very simple, just a little wood flower with a bit of Linen Thread to give it something extra. The flowers pop just great by them selves!

Thanks for visiting, see you next time!

  4. Beautiful! I adore how you've stamped these flowers - but I really, really love the stamped spots on your background. Thank you so much for playing along with my CASE the Designer challenge at GDP – I’m honored.
