Stampin with Liz Design: A-team Re-united Blog Hop!

Hi everyone! I'm so excited, I'm hopping once more with my Artisan friends from 2018! I had such a blast with these ladies last year, so I'm very happy that some of us have reunited for today! At the end of this post you can start hopping, make sure to check out all of the amazing projects that were created for today!

I created a simple, but fun card with the Country Home Stamp Set. I started with a base from Smoky Slate cardstock and added a front panel that I diecutted with the Stitched Rectangles Dies. I spattered some white paint on my background and stamped the text Happy Harvest Blessing at the bottom.

I stamped the vase and flowers on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and fussy cutted it. I coloured the image with the Stampin' Blend Markers and then added it to my card with dimensionals. Then, to finish this card I added some silver sequins.

Make sure you check out the other team members, there is some mean talent going on there! Just click on the next button to hop along! Next up is the amazing Susan Wong, love her!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Chunky Monkey Card with a Video Tutorial!

Welcome at a new Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! Yesterday I showed you guys a sweet card with a stamp set that I aquired from SugarPea Designs. I promissed you a second card from this fun brand and here it is today with a Card Video Tutorial! I created this monkey card with the Chunky Monkey stamp set, aren't these monkeys the cutest?

I started this card with a card base from thick white cardstock in A2 size. I blended the background in two colours of green Distress ink from Ranger, Lucky Clover and Shabby Shutters. I added some spatters in Lucky Clover and Black ink. I added the text with Black Tuxedo Memento ink.

I thought it would be nice to hang a monkey at the top on a tree brench and decided to use a panel with leaves to create a fun furrest panel. I diecutted a piece of Vellum paper with the Leafy Frame Wafer Die from Simon Says Stamp and added this to my base.

I then stamped the fun monkeys using a stampin tool. I diecutted these with the coordinating dies and coloured them with Copic Markers. You can see the which colours I used in the photo below.

Stampin with Liz Design: Too-Cute Turtles Card with Video Tutorial!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! Today I'd like to share a card with you all that I created for the color challenge that started yesterday at Mft stamps Card Challenges. Challenges are always a great starting point for a card, the colours for this card were to be Blueberry, Natural, Limelight and Jellybean Green. I used the stamp set Too-Cute Turtles from Mft stamps for my card.

I used a base of Kraft cardstock for this card in A2 size. I diecutted a piece of white cardstock with the largest die from the In & Out Stitched Rounded Rectangles Die-namics. I diecutted two pieces of green cardstock with the same die to make it a perfect match and then again with the Grassy Edges Die-namics.

I then blended my background with two colours of Distress Ranger ink, Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon. After blending I diecutted this piece of blended paper with the Happy Birthday Block Die-namics. I then stamped the butterfly from the stamp set with Crumb Cake ink from Stampin Up all over my background.

I stamped the turtle, a butterfly and two flowers on Solar White Neenah Cardstock and diecutted them with the coordinating dies. After diecutting I coloured them with Copic Markers and added them to my card using dimensionals.  You can see the colours I used for this card in the photo below.

Stampin with Liz Design: Rain or Shine Card with Video Tutorial!

Hi guys! I'm excited to show you guys a new fun card today! It's been raining here for days in the Netherlands now and the rain doesn't seem to be stopping soon. So no place better to hide then in my craft room, but since we have two dogs and four horses I still dare to go outside, and I most say I am an outdoor kind a girl, so a raincoat and umbrella will do the trick!

I created this fun card for the new challenge that started yesterday at the Mft stamps Card Challenges. There is a new sketch up and I just love doing those! I created this card with the amazing stamp set Rain or Shine, just love the images in this set!

The base for this card is created from a piece of thick white cardstock in A2 size. I added a front panel that I diecutted with the largest die from the Stitched Rectangle die from the Die-namics set from Mft. I blended this panel with three colours of Ranger Distress ink, Faded Jeans, Mermaid Lagoon and Tumbled Glass. To make the background pop a bit more I added some ink spatters and rain drops that I drew on my card with a white gel marker.  I added two clouds that I diecutted with the dies from the Stitched Cloud Edges from Mft and then diecutted these again with the same Stitched Rectangle Die to make it match my front panel perfectly.

I then started working on the focal point for this card, the cute little girl. I stamped, diecutted and coloured her with Copic Markers. I placed her with dimensionals on to my card, just right over the rain pool. Above her I added two clouds that I also coloured with Copic Markers with dimensionals as well. To finish this card I added the text I Love You Rain or Shine. I think it's pretty cute! You can see which colours I used in the photo below!
