Stampin with Liz Design: Create a Smile Big Surprise Card!

Hi there crafters! Today I'm a guest designer at Create a Smile Challenges! Every two weeks they have a new fun challenge, this time they have a fun sketch up! I created this cutie with the sketch in mind with their fun Big Suprise stamp set! Just love this cool guy!

You can enter this challenge world wide and have a chance at winning a € 25 gift certificate to spend at Create a Smile stamps! For those of you who don't own a Create a Smile stamp set yet, you can use one of the freebies that are up on their site!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size and then added a front panel, which I diecutted with a Stitched Rectangle Die. I started creating a fun background, keeping the two circles from the sketch in mind. I used the fun stencil called Bubble Circle. I blended two circles within the same circle, by using light and darker colours and a circle mask.

I created sand in the bottom of my circle and then sea bubbles up top. I stamped the text 'Big Smiles' in the left corner of my card and then started working on the fun image of the cool walrus! I stamped this fun guy, fussy cutted him and coloured him with Copic Markers. I added him and the rocks underneath him, with dimensionals on to my card.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Crafty Meraki Koala-ty Time Card!

Hi there crafters! Are you ready for another fun slimline card? I'm over at the Crafty Meraki blog today, sharing some new slimline inspiration, created with the amazing Frame-Worthy Slimline dies and the Koala-ty Time stamp set from My Favorite Things!

I just love the stitched frames from these dies, they make creating a slimline card so easy! I started this card with a white slimline card base and then blended the front of my card completely using Dried Marigold, Worn Lipstick and Tattered Rose Ranger Distress Oxide ink and the Mini Cloud stencil from My Favorite Things.

I added some splatters to my background, to make it even more fun! I added the stitched frame with dimensionals on to my card base and then started working on the fun images from the stamp set! These koala's are just so cute! I stamped, diecutted and coloured them with Copic Markers, and then added them together with the text from the set, on to my card using dimensionals as well.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Hi there everyone! With Easter coming up, I couldn't resist buying the new Spring Gnomes stamp set from My Favorite Things! Have you seen this amazing set? I think the gnomes are just so cute!

I'd like to send this fun slimline card in to the new slimline challenge at My Favorite Things! I started this card with a white card base, in slimline size. I added a front panel, which I diecutted with the amazing 3 Room Studio Slimline die from Crafty Meraki. I blended this panel with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink from Ranger, using the Mini Cloud Stencil from My Favorite Things.

I stamped the fun text 'Your Friendship is Worth Putting All of my Eggs in one Basket' on to my panel. I then blended the parts behind the windows of my panel, with Mermaid Lagoon and Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide ink, using the Grass Stencil. I then stamped all the amazing images from the Spring Gnomes stamp set, coloured them with Copic Markers, and added them with dimensional on to my card.

Stampin with Liz Design: My Favorite Things Mermazing Card!

Good morning everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! Today I'm sharing a new mermaid card, I just love doing those! Not only the mermaids and water creatures are fun, I always enjoy creating a fun water scene! This card was created with the Mermazing stamp set from My Favorite Things!

I started this card with the new sketch in mind, for this weeks challenge at My Favorite Things! I love entering these competitions, loads of ideas come in mind when I see a sketch or moodboard. A great starting point to get creative!

For me I thought the lower stripes could be peaces of the sea bottom and my idea started. I used a white card base in A2 size and added a white panel on there, diecutted with a Stitched Rectangle Die. I started creating my underwater scene on this panel, first with the blue water. I blended my panel with two blue colours of Ranger Distress Oxide ink. I added some rays of sunlight by using the Ray of Light Stencil. I love adding those on a sea card, like the sun shines through the water surface down!

I then stamped al the seaweeds, plants and a few fish in a blue colour on my background, added some splatters and water bubbles. Then I added three pieces of the bottom, using the Stitched Snow Drifts dies and Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. To finish this fun card with, I added a few images from the amazing Mermazing stamp set, diecutted and coloured them and then added these cuties with dimensionals on to my card!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!
