Welcome today at another Stampin with Liz Design blog post! Today I'd like to share a card with you created with the Sea of Textures stamp set! How fun is the octpous from this set!
De basis van deze kaart is van Thick Whisper White Cardstock. Dit is iets dikker cardstock waardoor je kaart heel stevig wordt. Op de voorgrond heb ik een stuk Watercolor Paper en design papier gebruikt.
The base for this card is created from Thick Whisper White Cardstock. This is thicker cardstock then the usual and gives your card a nice firmness. On the front I used a piece of Watercolor Paper and design paper.
Op het Watercolor papier heb ik met Night of Navy inkt en water een achtergrond aangebracht. De octopus is gestempeld en met de bijbehorende framelits uitgesneden en met dimensionals op mijn kaart aangebracht. Voor de visjes heb ik Whisper White papier gekleurd met spons en inkt en daarna met de framelits gestanst. Ze zijn wel heel klein om te plakken, ik doe er een strook Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet achter, zodat ze direct plakken na het uitsnijden en je niet met lijm aan de slag hoeft!
I created a watercolor background with water and Night of Navy ink on the Watercolor Paper. I stamped the octopus and then diecutted it with the matching framelits to this set. I placed it with Dimensionals on my card. I colored Whisper White paper for the fishes with a sponge and ink before diecutting with the framelits. They are teeny tiny, so I adhered Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet to the back of my paper before diecutting, so you don't have to work with glue!
I stamped the text on Whisper White paper that I coloured first with a sponge and ink. I just love this technique! It gives such a great colour and texture!
