Stampin with Liz Design: Tea Lights Stamping Fun!

Hi everyone! Are you ready for a fun tip today? With the holidays coming up, how fun is it to decorate your home Stampin’ Up! style?! I created some fun tea lights with stamps today that I'd like to share with you!

Creating these tea lights is so much fun to do! Of course they are great decoration for your own home, but they make a great gift as well! They are a bit of a surprise, as the stamped images will show after burning the candles for a bit.

What do you need for these fun candles? A fun stamp set, cardstock, ink, a circle framelit or punch in the size of the tea light you are going to pick, and of course some tea lights! I bought my tea lights at Ikea. It's important that you pick a tea light with a fuse that you can take out underneath. Some tea lights don't have those and then you can't take the fuse out.

Just stamp an image of choice on your cardstock. I used the Snow is Glistening stamp set for mine. You can use any ink you like. I tried inking with Versamark ink and then heat set my stamped image with white embossingpowder. This looks amazing on black cardstock. You can do this, but when your candle is almost burnt, the embossing powder will smoosh a bit. So fun, just untill the end as well!

After stamping, diecut a circle from your cardstock. I used the second smallest circle framelit from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies, which is 3,5 cm (about 1 1/3" I think). Then punch a hole big enough for the fuse to go through in the middle of your circle. I just used the paper piercing tool for this part. Run the fuse throught that hole and reassemble your tea light back together!

I tried burning these fun candles of course, and you can burn them all the way to the end safe. Just with the sidemark, to never leave burning candles unattended! I hope you enjoyed this fun tip! I'll also post a Video on YouTube today, if you are interested, I would love for you to follow my YouTube Channel. I try to post a few times a week if I'm able, so keep posted!

Thanks for watching, see you next time!
