Stampin with Liz Design: On Thin Ice Card!

Hi everyone, sharing the first post of 2019 today! Hope you all had a great New Year's Eve! Hoping 2019 will be a great and creative year! I'm starting this year of with this fun wintercard, created with the On Thin Ice stamp set from Clearly Besotted!

I used a base from Thick Whisper White cardstock from Stampin' Up for this card. I created a frame with masking tape to blend a blue winter sky. I used Mermaid Lagoon, Faded Jeans and Black Soot Distress ink from Ranger to blend with. For the bottom I diecutted a piece of white cardstock with a Stitched Snow Drifts Die and a Stitched Rectangle Die from Mft.

I addes snow by using a mask created with the Snowfall Die from MFT and used white embossing paste. I stamped the tekst 'let's chill out together' on the bottom with Black Tuxedo Memento Ink by using a stamping tool. This works great to hold your paper and align your stamp up perfectly. I did the same for the cute mice and ice block. I fussy cutted them afterwards and coloured them with my Copic Markers.
