Stampin with Liz Design: Create a Smile Challenges!

Hi there crafters! Today the Create a Smile team is back with another challenge! I don't know about you guys, but keeping me busy, keeps me pretty sane to get through these tough times. So a fun challenge is maybe a fun thing to participate in if you need some distraction as well. We have a dun sketch up this week! I created a fun card for today with the Underwaterlove stamp set!

This set is just amazing, with a lot of fun underwater animals and two boats! I used some of the cute fish and an octopus for my card, don't you just love the cute narwals? You can enter this challenge world wide and have a chance at winning a € 25 gift certificate to spend at Create a Smile stamps! In this sketch you will find a circle and three strings. You can interpret a sketch in any way you'd like, as long as we can recognize the Original sketch in there somewhere! I choose to use a circle to create a shaker frame with, who doesn't love a fun shaker card, right?! And for the string I used a line of air bubbles.

I used a white card base for this card and diecutted a front panel with a Stitched Rectangle Die and blended this piece of white paper with a blending tool and different colours of Ranger Distress Oxide ink. I used the colours Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, Broken China and Tumbled Glass. I added some water splatters on my blended part and stamped the air bubbles with a blue ink. I added a fun shaker frame, using a circle and some coloured sequins. I then added the stamped underwater animals, which I fussy cutted and coloured with Copic Markers. I diecutted the text Happy with the Cool Cuts Happy die and added the text Birthday and many more to come, which is from another stamp set, but did complete the Happy very well!
