MFT Stamps - Sketch Challenge!

Hi there everyone! Welcome to our weekly new Sketch Challenge at MFT Stamps! Every wednesday we have a fun new sketch up for you! Join us to have a change at winning a $ 50 gift Voucher at MFT Stamps! I created a fun card for today, using the amazing Festive Old Friends stamp set!

Sketch Challenges are just the best! You are free to interpret them anyway you'd like! Hope loads of you are joining this weeks challenge, can't wait to see your creations! I used the birthday boy to match the rectangle from the sketch at the bottom, and the speech bubble above him to match the sketch. The speech bubble comes from the Magical Friends stamp set.

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size and then added a fun front panel, which I diecutted with the largest die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Stax. You guessed right, I love the stitched borders this die gives! I than stamped my images from the stamp set and masked them with masking paper. 

Masking keeps your images nice and clean, I used it because I wanted to blend a fun background, but didn't want blue images, lol. I blended my background with different colours of Ranger Distress Oxide ink, using the Herringbone stencil. I then removed my masking paper, and coloured this birtday boy with Copic Markers. I stamped the sentiment from the set at the top and added the tiny sentiment from the Magical Friends set to finish this fun card with.
