Stampin with Liz Design: Create a Smile Challenges!

Hi everyone, welcome to a new moodboard challenge over at Create a Smile Challenges! I''m so excited today, cause this moodboard is just amazing, but I'm also a bit sad as this will my last challenge at Create a Smile Challenges as a design team member. I had a blast this last year and had the luck to even enjoy two terms, but all good things come to an end and a new team will have the chance to get a go! I will be playing along for sure in the future! For this last challenge I created a fun Christmas card with the A Friendly Turn stamp set!

You can enter this challenge world wide and have a chance at winning a € 25 gift certificate to spend at Create a Smile stamps! For those of you who don't own a Create a Smile stamp set yet, you can use one of the freebies that are up on their site!

I just love this moodboard, Christmas is almost here and this board so gets me in the mood! Hope everyone will enjoy a great Christmas together! I started my card with a white card base on which I added a piece of red patterned paper. I then started working on a front panel, for which I diecutted another piece of patterned paper with a Stitched Rectangle Die. I stamped the text 'Merry Go-Round Christmas' from the A Friendly Turn stamp set at the right corner of my panel.

I them stamped a fun snow background with trees from another set and diecutted this piece with the stitched rectangle die I used before, to make it a perfect match with the sky. I then stamped the gorgeous turning wheel image from the set and completely fussy cutted the image. A bit of work, but totally worth it! I coloured all the images with Copic Markers and added the wheel with dimensionals on to my card!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time! Wishing everyone great holidays!

Stampin with Liz Design: Lawn Fawn A Creature was Stirring Card!

Hi there crafters! Today I'm sharing one of my last Christmas cards for this year. I created this fun card with the amazing stamp set A Creature was Stirring from Lawn Fawn!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size and added a piece of SnowDay Remix patterned paper on the front of my card. I then diecutted a fun frame with the Stitced Collage Frame from My Favorite Things and added a piece of white cardstock behind it, which I blended with two colours of pink Distress Oxide ink and a blue colour, using a brick wall stencil for my background.

I added the frame on this background using dimensionals, so there is a little bit of space created between the layers, which gives the card a fun effect. I then stamped, fussy cutted and coloured all the images with Copic Markers. I added these cute mice having christmas baking fun with dimensionals to my card as well.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Crafty Meraki Quack Me Up Heffy Doodle Card!

Hi there everyone! Sharing a fun pink card today on the Crafty Meraki blog! This colourful card was created with the Quack Me Up stamp set from Heffy Doodle! Playing outside in the rain was never more fun!

I diecutted a piece of white cardstock with a Wonky Stitched die from My Favorite Things and started working on a fun background. I choose pink colours, starting with a darker one on top and working my way up to a lighter pink at the bottom. I blended the bottom with black ink, leaving the water puddles blank by using masking paper.

I then added loads of coloured splatters, to make the background a bite more interesting, creating a rainy look. I stamped the text 'Thinking of You, Whatever the Weather' in the upper middle part and then added the fun images from the stamp set using dimensionals after colouring them with Copic Markers.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: LDRS Creative Snowball Fight Card!

Hi everyone! Today I'm over at the LDRS Creative blog with a cute winter card to share with you all! This card was created with the Snowball Fight and Pine Tree Forest stamp sets! No snow where we live here yet, but these cuties are sure enjoying the snow!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size and added a slightly smaller panel from white cardstock on which I blended a fun background with blue ink. I stamped the gorgeous trees from the Pine Tree Forest on there and added some snow flakes! With just a few simple steps you can create a gorgeous background for your images to shine on!

I then stamped the text 'You're Snow Cool', which I thought was so funny, from the Snowball Fight stamp set a bit below where I wnnted my fox image to go and added the three adorable images from the same set, which I stamped, diecutted and coloured with alcohol markers using dimensionals. Hope you have a nice, white Christmas where you live!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Lawn Fawn Mice on Ice Card!

Hi there! Hope you are all in the mood for another winter/holiday card! I do love creating them, so sharing this cutie created with the Mice on Ice stamp set from Lawn Fawn today!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size and added a front panel which I diecutted with a large Stitched Rectangle die. I then started working on blending a background on there. I used darker blue colours to create a sky and lighter blue colours to create an ice surface for the cute mice to skate on! I added some snow flakes in the sky!

I stamped the gorgeous text Happy from the stamp set in the upper part and added holidays on black cardstock, using Versamark ink and white embossing powder. I then added a snow surface, which I stamped with the treeline stamp from the Over the Mountain Borders set and added the mountains, which are from the same set. I diecutted this piece with the same rectangle die and with a snow drift die at the bottom and added this piece with dimensionals on to my card. I then stamped the fun treehouse from the Frosty Fairy Friends set and the cutest Mice ever! I also added these cuties with dimensionals on to my card. Hope you like them!
