Stampin with Liz Design: Jane's Doodles Wild Flowers Card!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share another card with you! I created this gorgeous card for Jane's Doodles stamps with the beautiful Wild Flowers stamp set! Who doesn't love a gorgeous flower card? I really enjoy those, promising more flower cards in the future, lol!

I love white and pink flowers, so I decided to colour these flowers in pink tones! I wanted a fun background for my flower bouquet to make the flower really pop and decided to go for a dark blue background with a little touch of gold! Sometimes it's fun to go really bold! I used a white card base  and started working on my background on a front panel that I diecutted with a Stitched Rectangle die.

I used Chipped Sapphire and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink from Ranger to blend a fun background, using a blending tool and a stencil. I diecutted a piece of gold foil paper with a Scalloped Stitched Rectangle die and left a piece on my background without using the stencil on that part. I added some gold spatters on to my blue front panel, added the rectangle, my flowers and the text happy anniversary with dimensionals on to my card!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Magengo Honey Friend Card!

Hi there fellow crafters! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design blog post! Today I'm excited to be over at the Magengo Designs blog with a new, fun card! I generally don't like winter, so I'm already really looking forward to spring. I thought I'd create a really fun card to get in the spring mood! When I think of spring, I think of the trees getting green again, sun and of all the bugs that seem to rise again, lol. I like bugs as much as I like winter, but on my card today there is just the most adorable little bee ever! And a bear that is just coming out of it's winter sleep! This fun digital stamp set is called Honey Friend!

In this fun stamp set you'll find a few bees, a friendly bear, a bee hive, a tree, grass and of course honey! I can relate to this snooping bear, I love honey as well! Luckily for him, the bee doesn't mind him snooping! I kept this card very clean and simple, sometimes a cute image doesn't need much more! I used a white card base which I started masking with masking tape at the sides, to keep a nice clean white border before starting to blend a fun background. I used a cloud and a grass stencil to create my background with. I used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink for the sky and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink, both from Ranger. Applying ink is very easy with a blending tool, just dip the blending tool on to your ink pad, loose a bit of the first ink on a different piece of paper and then gently go about your paper using the stencil to apply the ink.

I then started working on my images. Digital stamps are very easy to use. You just pick the images that you'd like to use and then print them. Print hem on paper you would also use to stamp on, I like using Solar White Neenah cardstock, as it is great to colour with Copic Markers. I printed the tree, bee hive, the adorable bee and the bear holding the jar full of honey. I fussy cutted these images and then coloured them with Copic Markers. I added some lines to my tree, to make it look more real. I then diecutted a piece of cardstock with a cloud die, using it as leaves for the tree. I blended this with Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I added all of these stamped images and the leaves on to my card using dimensionals, just to give this card a bit more depth! Hope you like it!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Isabel Cristina Tea Bunnies Card!

Hi there fellow crafters! Welcome today at a new Stampin with Liz Design blog post! Today I'm sharing a simple, but a very adorable card! This card is created with a digital stamp set called Tea Bunnies from Isabel Cristina! I know you all like your rubber, I must admit I do to, but digital stamping is so much fun as well! It is very easy to do, as all you need is a printer and computer! You can order worlwide and don't have to wait on your package at all, you can just download your bought file immediately, I so love that! Digital stamping has a lot of advantages, fast, easy, you can use any size you'd like your image to be and not to forget, it isn't as big as an investment as rubber stamps, so loads of reasons to try it yourself!

I choose the image from this stamp set of the cute bunny chilling is his coffee cup. This image is so adorable, don't you think? I printed it in the size that I wanted it to be and added the text 'Infused with Love' which you will also find in this set underneath my image. I added all the little images in a circle around my bunny, all tea items! I then printed this on Neenah Solar White cardstock. Just use the same paper you would use for normal stamping, as you want to colour you images afterwards, so go for the same quality! I like using Neenah Solar White cardstock and then colour my images with Copic Markers. This paper is just perfect for that purpose!

I then started masking my printed images, to start blending a bit of my paper around the bunny in a pink colour. I used Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress ink from Ranger for this part and a blending tool. I then diecutted my piece of cardstock with a Wonky Stitched Rectangle die and started colouring my images with Copic Markers. I added some Party Pink Nuvo Crystal Drops to my front panel. I just love using the Crystal Drops from Nuvo, so easy to apply to your card! Just apply a drop to your project and tap your cardstock a bit on the back to let the drops get a gorgeous round shape! I then chose a kraft card base for this adorable front and applied my front with dimensionals on to my base, this gives your card just a little bit more depth! Simple, but simply so adorable, hope you like this cutie as well!
