Stampin with Liz Design: Beach Buds Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Blog Post today! In this post I will show you guys a fun card created with the Beach Buds stamp set from My Favorite Things. I just love these little sea creatures! I think this is actually my second card with this set this month, lol!

I created this card for the new sketch challenge at Mft Stamps, so a card with a mission! I started working on my front panel, I diecutted a white piece of cardstock with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die-Namics from My Favorite Things. I then blended this piece with three colours of Distress ink from Ranger, Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Faded Jeans.

I added a few waves, using my Copic Markers and a stencil that I created with the Waves Die from Avery Elle. I stamped some sea plants at the bottom of my front panel using Pacific Point ink from Stampin' Up and the stamps set Mermazing. I then let some rays of sunlight get in the water from above, using white ink and the Ray of Light Stencil from My Favorite Thing. I then diecutted three circles from my front panel, to match the sketch.

I then started working on my card base. I use A2 size cards. I stampmed a few bubbles, plants and fish on my base just behind where the circles from my panel would be. I then stamped and diecutted the fun sea creatures from the set. I coloured these with Copic Markers. I added my front panel and images with dimensionals to my base. I blended a piece of white cardstock with Peacock Feathers ink and stamped the text 'Have a Jawsome Day' on this with Versamark ink. I then sprinkled white embossing powder on top and heat setted my text with a heat tool. To finish my card I added the text to my card with dimensionals as well.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Wish Upon A Star Card!

Welcome to a very sweet new blog post from Stampin with Liz Design! I love creating baby cards, you can't go too sweet with them, so very pink or blue is just so fun to do! For my card today I created a super sweet pink card with the fun stamp set Wish Upon A Star from Mama Elephant!

I love doing a long, small card, you can create amazing layouts on these cards! Mine is about the size 21 x 17 cm, scored at 8.5 cm. Because you are working with a special size, you will have to create you own envelopes, but a handcrafted one in a matching colour is just even cuter!

I started this card by creating my background with the Cloud stencil from My Favorite Things and Spun Sugar Distress ink from Ranger. I stamped the text in the upper middle with Versamark ink and sprinkled it with gold embossing powder. I heat setted this with a heat tool. I also stamped a few stars from the stamp set on to my background using Spun Sugar ink as well.

I added two pieces of white cardstock at the bottom which I diecutted with the Stitched Cloud Edges Die-namics after blending these with Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick Distress ink. I stamped and diecutted the images from the stamp set, coloured them with Copic Markers and added them on to my card by using dimensionals. Don't you just love this sweet pink card?

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Friends at First Sip Card!

Hi everyone! Did you all enjoy your weekend? We had some amazing weather here in the Netherlands, spring just started, but this weekend felt like full on summer! So we had our first bbq at Easter ever I think, lol! Still found some time to craft, so today I'm sharing a fun and colourful card!

I created this card for the new Birthday challenge that started at Mft stamps, lol, yes, my third challenge this week! If I can find the time and creativity, I do love entering! Theme for the new Birthday challenge is to create something with a birthday beverage. I choose the fun stamp set Friends at First Sip for this one!

I used the Spring Scene Builder from My Favorite Things to create my scene with. I blended my pieces with different colours of distress ink from Ranger and added some spatters to my card. I also used the Our Town Die-namics to add to my scene.

I then stamped and diecutted the images from the Friends at First Sip stamp set and coloured them with Copic Markers. I diecutted a piece of white cardstock with the Happy Birthday Circles Frame Die-Namics from My Favorite Things. I added these to my card, creating some layers with them, The clouds, grass and trees are adhered with double sided adhesive tape to my card, the other images with dimensionals.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Ribbit Ribbit Card!

Welcome to a new Stampin with LizDesign Blog Post! Hope you are all having a great day! We are really enjoying some gorgeous spring weather here, so I'm really in the mood for something fun and created a card for today with lots of colour!

I created this card with the fun stamp set Ribbit Ribbit from Avery Elle. I used a base from A2 thick white cardstock and added a fun front panel to it. I diecutted my panel with the Snow Drifs Cover-Up Die from Mft stamps. I blended this piece with different colours of Ranger Distress ink. In the yellow part I added some rays of sun by using the Ray of Light Stencil from Mft stamps.

I added my front panel with dimensionals on to my base and then started working on my images. I stamped the images on Solar White Neenah Cardstock and diecutted them with my Scan 'N Cut machine from Brother, but of course you can buy coordinating dies with this amazing set! I coloured them with Copic Markers and added the images with dimensionals to my card. I added the text with dimensionals as well.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Stampstories Blog Hop!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampstories Blog Hop! Today a few of the ex-Artisan Team Members are hopping again, all within the Wedding Theme! Make sure to scroll down at the end of this post to see some more amazing inspiration from the other so talented Stampstories team members! I created a wedding card with the Hand Delivered stamp set for this theme!

I started this card with a base from Thick Whisper White Cardstock. I then added a piece of design paper in grey stripes. For my front panel I diecutted a piece of Whisper White Cardstock with a Stitched Rectangle Die and then sponged my background using Pool Party ink and a Stamping Sponge.

After sponging, I stamped the background with Versamark ink with the Tree Rings background stamp and then added White Embossingpowder and heatsetted this with a Heat Tool to get a nice structured look! I then added a small piece of sponged cardstock, I used Night of Navy ink for this part and added a circle which I diecutted from Smoky Slate cardstock with a Stitched Circle.

I then stamped the lady holding the wedding cake with my Stamparatus. This is a great tool to align your stamps with. Being that this image is stamped with two stamp pieces, it works just perfectly! I fussy cutted this fun image and coloured it. I wanted to create a bit of a romantic look and gently coloured my image with Smoky Slate and Night of Navy ink by using a Blender Pen.

Make sure to check out all the other amazing project by using the links listed below!
