MFT Stamps - Chillin' with You Card!

Hi there crafty friends! Are you all ready to chill in the winter? I personally love spring, summer and autumn, but always hope winter time will be over soon, lol, not made for the snow and slippery part of the winter. I created a fun card for today with criters that do enjoy the snow and cold very much! These adorable animals are from the Chillin' with You stamp set from My Favorite Things!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size and then added a front panel, for which I diecutted white cardstock using the largest die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangles Die-namics. I created a fun winter background on this piece, drawing the ice surface and then stampin a tree skyline using the Loads of Joy stamp set. I coloured the tree with Copic Markers.

I then blended all the other parts with different colours of blue Ranger Distress Oxide inks and added loads of splatters to the sky to give my card it a bit more of a winter snow feel. I then stamped the adorable images from the stamp set, diecutted them with the coordinating dies and coloured them with Copic Markers, before adding them on to my card.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

I choose the amazing Penguins in Paradise stamp set for this fun slimline card! I just love these relaxing cuties! I started this card with a slimline card base, created from Tropical Teal Cardstock. I then added a front panel, which I diecutted with the stitched rectangle slimline die from the Slimline Starter set.

I then started working one a one layer front. I stamped the fun penquin friends and maskes the images after stamping. I then blended a fun blue background and added loads of splatters. I then removed the masking paper and coloured these adorable birds with Copic Markers and added the sentiment in the right left upper corner.

MFT Stamps - Sketch Challenge!

Hi there everyone! Welcome to our weekly new Sketch Challenge at MFT Stamps! Every wednesday we have a fun new sketch up for you! Join us to have a change at winning a $ 50 gift Voucher at MFT Stamps! I created a fun card for you today with the cute Little Helper stamp set!

A sketch is a fun starting point for your project, I always love doing them! I thought it would be fun to use the tree from the Little Helper stamp set to create the three rectangles with. The brench of the tree divides them! I stamped the tree and added a little bit more hight to it, to make it a perfect fit for my card.

I then masked the stamped tree, and started blending a fun blue background using ink and a blending tool. I added some blue splatters to make it more fun. I then removed my masking paper and stamped the other images from the stamp set. I diecutted these images with the coordinating dies and coloured all my images with Copic Markers. I then added the sentiment from the set on black cardstock to finish this fun card with!

Create cards, layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch for a change to win a gift voucher at My Favorite Things! You can add your project to the InLinkz that are up at the MFT Stamps Blog! Good luck!
