MFT Stamps - Sketch Challenge!

Hi there crafty friends! Welcome at a new MFT Stamps Sketch Challenge! We have a fun new sketch up for you this week, join in for a chance to win a $ 50 gift Voucher at MFT Stamps! I created a fun card with this sketch using the amazing Adorable Adventures stamp set!

I can't wait to see how you all will interpret this challenge! I flipped the challenge a quarter around and used a grass border for the scalloped border, added circles from patterned paper and of course the fun images from the stamp set.

I started this card with a white slimline card base and then added patterned paper on my card, from the Wallpaper Paper Pad. I love using patterned paper, and allthough this paper pad isn't in slimline size, with great adhering, you can easily use two pieces in stead of on to make it a perfect fit. I then added circles from patterned paped, from the Stripe Splash paper pad to match the sketch.

I then added a grass border to match the border on the sketch, diecutting a piece of Japaleno Popper Cardstock with the Slimline Grassy Hills Die-namics. I then stamped the fun images from the set, diecutted them with coordinating dies and coloured these cuties with Copic Markers. Don't you just love these adventures kids?!

Stampin with Liz Design: Crafty Meraki Adorable Adventures Mft Card!

Hi there crafters! Today I'm over at the Crafty Meraki blog with a fun new card created with the Adorable Adventures stamp set from My Favorite Things! Have you seen this fun set? I just love it, with all fun outdoor camping images! You can check it in the Crafty Meraki store here!

I started my card with a white card base on which I applied a piece of patterned paper on the front. I then diecutted a front panel with a Stitched Rectangle die and created a fun scene on there, before adding the panel with dimensionals on to my card base. I started by creating the sky using blue ink colours. I stamped the text in two parts, the part 'Right Direction' straight on to my blue sky and then part 2 on black cardstock, using white embossing powder and Versamark ink. I added part 2 with dimensionals on to my card. 

I then started working on the rest of my scene, I love building a fun scene up. I stamped the images from the set, diecutted them and then coloured them with Copic Markers. I placed the mountains on my background and then added bushes, which I blended white cardstock for and diecutted with a die from the Stitched Cloud Edges. I then added a piece of sand, which I also blended and diecutted with a die from the Snow Drifts dies and then last the grass at the bottom of my scene, which I blended and diecutted with the Grassy Hills Dies. I then added the images with dimensionals, don't you just love this outdoor scene?!

Stampin with Liz Design: My Favorite Things Adorable Adventures Card!

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share some great news today!! I will be a part of the amazing Crafty Meraki team, yeah!! Crafty Meraki is a fabulous online shop with loads of amazing brands, so be sure to check it out! For an Instagram hop we are having today with the Crafty Meraki team (with a fun giveaway, so make sure to check my post on Instagram (stampinwithlizdesign), I created a fun slimline card that I created with the new stamp set Adorable Adventures from My Favorite Things!

This stamp set is a larger one and contains a lot of fun images, so I choose a slimline card to portray a lot of them! I used a white card base and then diecutted a white front panel with a stitched slimline die and created a fun scene on this panel. I blended my background with Chipped Sapphire and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I added some white splatters on it to make it a bit more fun! I stamped the text 'I Camp Believe It's Your Birthday' from the set in the right upper corner, I just love the word joke! 

I then added a sand and grass panel, both diecutted with slimline dies as well and blended them with Fossilized Amber, Scattered Straw, Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink. I added my front panel with dimensionals on to my card base and then stamped all the fun images from the set, fussy cutted them and coloured them with Copic Markers. I added them on to my panel using dimensionals as well!
