Stampin with Liz Design: Create a Smile Challenges!

Hi everyone! Welcome today at a new Create a Smile Challenge! Today we are having a gorgeous new moodboard as a theme! It inspired me to create this card with the Message in a Bottle stamp set!

You can enter this challenge world wide and have a chance at winning a € 25 gift certificate to spend at Create a Smile stamps! For those of you who don't own a Create a Smile stamp set yet, you can use one of the freebies that are up on their site!

I thought i would be fun using the colours of this challenge and the stone wall I see in this moodboard. I started my card with a slimline card base in a soft green colour. I added a front from brown cardstock and a piece of white cardstock on which I created a fun background. I used a stencil to create the wall and ink splatter with!

I used Sahara Sand, Peeled Paint, Old Paper and Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. On a few stones, I coloured them with pencils in a brown and grey colour. I then stamped the fun images and the text from the set. I coloured the images with Copic Markers and fussy cutted them before adding them on to my card with dimensionals.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Create a Smile Challenges!

Hi there crafters! Are you all ready for a new Create a Smile Challenge today? This is by far my most favorite challenge blog, Christine always creates the most gorgeous moodboards and sketches! Today's theme is a moodboard, I created this fun card to inspire you with, with the A Little Treat stamp set!

You can enter this challenge world wide and have a chance at winning a € 25 gift certificate to spend at Create a Smile stamps! For those of you who don't own a Create a Smile stamp set yet, you can use one of the freebies that are up on their site!
I started this challenge by thinking what colours I would use. I choose to use a slimline card and blended a fun background with Tattered Rose and Victorian Velvet Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I then thought it would be fun to use the A Little Treat stamp set to incorporate all the other colours I see on the moodboard.

I stamped the text the sweetest and wishes from the stamp set on my card, leaving enough space to get the word Birthday in, that I diecutted from black foam with the Cool Cuts Birthday die. I then stamped, fussy cutted and coloured the fun ice creams and popsickles and added them with dimensionals on to my card!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Create a Smile Challenges!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Create a Smile Challenge today! We have an amazing moodboard this challenge, so hope to see a lot of you there! I created this card with the A Friendly Turn stamp set to inspire you with!

I love the moodboard for this challenge! Christine always knows how to get them look amazing! I used the blue and yellow/orange colours! These colours really look like summer to me, so hope the snowmen won't melt, lol! You can enter this challenge world wide and have a chance at winning a € 25 gift certificate to spend at Create a Smile stamps! For those of you who don't own a Create a Smile stamp set yet, you can use one of the freebies that are up on their site!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4 x 5 1/2") and then diecutted a front panel on which I created a fun scene. I blended the background with Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink for the sky, Evergreen Bough and Mowed Lawn for the bushes.

I diecutted the bushes with a stitched cloud die and added a bottom from a piece of patterned paper in a white wood look. I then stamped, fussy cutted and coloured the fun images from the A Friendly Turn stamp set. Don't you just like these cute snowmen having fun?! I added the wheel and the text from the set on to my card using dimensionals.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Create a Smile Challenges!

Hi there crafters! Here it is, the new challenge at Create a Smile Challenges! Today the team created some amazing new inspiration for you, hope this fun moodboard will inspire you as well! I created this card with the amazing Unfrogettable stamp set!

I really love this fun moodboard! So much bright colours!! Who doesn't love these colours, or the fun cake, I must admit, that delicious looking cake is really cathing my eye, lol! Loads of colours to get inspired by! You can enter this challenge world wide and have a chance at winning a € 25 gift certificate to spend at Create a Smile stamps! For those of you who don't own a Create a Smile stamp set yet, you can use one of the freebies that are up on their site!

When I saw all these amazing colours I could just think of a Rainbow! So I wanted to use one on my card. Thinking of a starting point with a moodboard is the way to go for me, so I went from there! I used a white card base in A2 siz (which is aproximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). I then diecutted a front panel with a Wonky Stitched die from Mft stamps and started blending a bright blue sky on there. I used a blending tool for this part and Mermaid Lagoon and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I added my front panel on to my card base using dimensionals.

I then diecutted different pieces of coloured cardstock to diecut a fun Rainbow with. I used stitched circles dies and then cut the circle into the size I wanted for my Rainbow. I added two white clouds and added my Rainbow to my card using dimensionals. I then stamped the adorable frogs from the Unfrogettable stamp set! These guys are so much fun! After rain there will be Sunshine! I fussy cutted these cuties and coloured them with Copic Markers. I stamped the rain pool on to my front panel and coloured it with Copic Markers. I then added the frog images with dimensionals. To finish this fun card with, I added the text from the set, You Are Unfrogettable!

Thanks for stopping by everyone! Stay safe and hope to see you at Create a Smile Challenges! Can't wait to see what you will create!
