Stampin with Liz Design: Grill Master Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! The weather is great at this point in the Netherlands, we love to bbq in the summer, so I loved this stamp set from SugarPea Designs so much! It's called Grill Master, I'm really graving some burgers and sausages now!

Hoi allemaal!

I used a white card base in A2 size for this card and used a fun paper from the Sugar & Spice Paper Pad from SugarPea Designs as well. Just love this amazing brand! I then started working on a front panel, I diecutted a piece of white cardstock with a stitched rectangle framelits which I started blending. I used the fun Wave Stencil, I thought this stencil would be fun for a nice skyline as well as creating some waves for a card with water. I used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink from Ranger, my go to colour for a nice sky!

I used a piece of white paper for the grass part and coloured it with Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I diecuted this piece with the Stitched Snow Drifts dies from Mft stamps and then with the stitched rectangle die to make it a perfect fit for the upper part of my card. I then stamped the fun images from the set, diecutted and coloured them with Copic Markers. I so hope we will still have a few nice summer days here!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Swinging By Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! Today I'm sharing a card trying something new! I love creating cards with a fun background and coloured images with Copic Markers. But I keep seeing these gorgeous cards that are entirely coloured with Copic Markers, including the background and that is new for me! So I created a card today using this technique, giving Amy Young all the credit for the background idea, as I used her amazing card as an example to try this fun technique! Check out her gorgeous site, she is really a colour artist!

Hoi allemaal!

I used a cardbase for this card in A2 size using thick white cardstock. I added a front panel that I diecutted with the largest rectangle framelits from the Stitched Rectangles Set from Mft stamps. I stamped the image from the super cute little stamp set Swinging By from Neat and Tangled in the middle of my card and coloured it with Copic Markers. I then started drawing the trees and grass with a black fineliner around the stamped image to create a background and coloured everything with Copic Markers to try and make it look anything like Amy's! Well, I will need some practice I think compared to her, but do like the end result for a first time!

So if you want to give it a try, can't wait to see what you will create! Amy posted all of the colours she uses to create her cards, so I'm sure I will try some more of her amazing ideas! Have fun trying too!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Enchanted Iris Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to my second flower post this week! I'm on a roll I guess, and they are so much fu to do, so maybe I should get me some more flower sets to play with! I created this card with the gorgeous stamp set Enchanted Iris from Altenew!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size. I then blended a piece of my background with Smoky Slate ink from Stampin' Up. Then I diecutted a cute panel with dots from the same white cardstock, using the Polka Plate die from Avery Elle. I added my front panel to my base with dimensionals, so there would be some space between the layers, creating a fun peek-a-boo effect through the small circles.

I then stamped and diecutted the flowers from the set with the coordinating dies. I coloured them with Copic Markers and added some white paint spatters to them to make them really pop. Just love my white paint spatters, lol! I also diecutted the text Thanks from the set from Gold Foil Paper. I added my flowers and text to the front panel using a fine tip glue pen. I used this glue also to add some gold sequins.

I'd like to send this card in to the May challenge over at Altenew, there is a inspiration challenge up this month! My first entry there, love to play along more often!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Birth-Yay Card!

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing another card that I created with the Birth-Yay stamp set from My Favorite Things. This set contains such cute party animals, I just can't resist them! You guys know I like entering a fun sketch challenge, this card is created with the sketch at the new Mft stamps challenge in mind!

For this card I used a white cardstock base in A2 size, a bit thicker cardstock then usual, so you get a nice firm base. I then started to create a fun birthday background scene. I used a piece of white cardstock for the sky that I blended with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink from Ranger using the Mini Cloud stencil. I added some grass parts that I also blended, using Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist ink from Stampin' Up and dies from the Spring Scene Builder and Grassy Edges Die-namics.

I diecutted a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock from Stampin' Up with the Our Town Die-namics and added that between the grass and sky. For the bottom I choose some festive design paper that comes from the On-Point Patterns Paper Pack. I then added the text Birthday Wishes, that I diecutted from White Foam with the Birthday Wishes Die-namics.

But of course a fun card wouldn't be fun without some stamped images! I stamped three cute animals for this card and a balloon from the stamp set. I diecutted them and started colouring these with Copic Markers, couldn't live without those any more! Saving this fun card for a little friend that will be another year older soon!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Sea Friends Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new blog post today! Just a few weeks ago we visited Sea Life, our kids love their fish tanks, so I thought it would be really fun for them to visit Sea Life. When I saw the stamp set Sea Friends from Pretty Pink Posh, I just couldn't resist! I'm really enjoying all the new brands for me, got to say I love this brand, can't wait to order more!

Don't you just love these friendly sea creatures? I'm so in love with them! I started this card with a white card base from thick cardstock in A2 size. I added a blue and white striped design paper from the Sugar & Spice Paper Pad from SugarPea Designs. The paper from this pad is already in A2 size, love it! A perfect match!

Although I love this paper already, I was stubborn enough to add some spatters to it with black ink. Lol, can't denie it, I do love spatters! I then added a panel created with the largest die from the Stitched Rectangles Scalloped Frames Die-namics from My Favorite Things. I diecutted this from Sahara Sand Cardstock from Stampin' Up. I lifted this panel from my card base by using Foam Adhesive Strips.

I stamped and diecutted (using my Brother Scan 'N Cut machine, but of course there are coordinating framelits for this set you can use) the sea images. I love stamping on Solar White Neenah Cardstock. For me this is my favorite paper to color with Copic Markers on. After colouring them, I added them with dimensionals on to my card, except for the sea plants, they are added with double sided adhesive tape right on my front. I added a tekst using a piece of white cardstcok that I blended with Peacock Feathers Distress ink from Ranger. To give this card a bit extra, I added some sequins to it!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!
