Stampin with Liz Design: Tropical Chic Card with Video Tutorial!

Welcome today at a new Stampin with Liz Design blog post! Winter is almost here, but I still like to think back at the beautiful summer, lol. Today I created a card with the Tropical Chic stamp set. Make sure to watch the Video Tutorial for this card at the end of this post.

I used a base from Thick Whisper White cardstock for this card. For the front I used a piece of Whisper White cardstock and a piece of paper from the gorgeous Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper.

I then diecutted a piece of Whisper White cardstock with the gorgeous square leave die from the coordinating Tropical Thinlits set. I then diecutted this piece again with a slightly larger square framelit from the Layering Squares framelits. I diecutted another piece of Whisper White cardstock with that last die to blend a background in 3 colours with a blending tool with.

I stamped the tekst with Versamark ink on to Basic Black cardstock and then sprinkled it with White Embossing powder. I then heat setted this with a heat tool and fussy cutted the tekst before applying it on to my card with dimensionals. At the side of the square I applied a leave with dimensionals as well.

Stampin with Liz Design: Postcard Pals Card!

Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing oke! Are you ready for some inspiration today? I'd like to share a fun, simple card with you! Just some fussy cutting necessary, but don't get scared, lol, it's worth your while! You might even find it relaxing, just like me. I love fussy cutting, but I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. Make sure to check the Video Tutorial for this card at the end of my post!

Do you recognize this sweet fellow? He comes from the fun stamp set Postcard Pals from Stampin' Up! He's just too cute! For this card I created a base from Thick Whisper White Cardstock and used a front that I diecutted with a Stitched Rectangle from MFT. I coloured my background with a blending tool and Peacock Feathers Distress ink.

Then I stamped my fun image and text using the Stamparatus from Stampin' Up, an amazing stamping tool. After stamping I coloured the image with the Stampin' Blend Markers. They just colour so nice! Love them and hope they will be available in more colours soon!

To give the card a bit more texture I did fussy cut this fun guy, so I could adhere it with dimensionals on to my card. I added some Glitter Enamal dots to finish my card. Doable sure, a simple card for those who don't mind the fussy cutting. If you'd like to see how this card came about, check my Video Tutorial below or watch in HD on YouTube! Make sure to follow my YouTube channel, I try posting regularly!

I'd like to send this card in to the new challenge at TGIF Challenges. This weeks theme over there is 'Sponge Worthy'. I hope my card will be worthy enough, lol. Always fun to enter!

Thanks you so much for visiting, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Country Home Card!

Welcome today at a new Stampin with Liz Design blog post! I had some last minute fun today with a challenge I saw at TGIF challenges. They have a nice inspiration challenge and I just loved the colours of their inspirational photo! Of course I will show you guys the photo as well, so you can see what I'm talking about. I'll post their photo at the end of my post.

I immediately thought of the amazing Country Home stamp set to use for this card. I love the flowers and pots in this set. For today I picked sweet colours. The base of this card is created from Thick Whisper White Cardstock. I then added a piece of Pool Party Cardstock, Wood Textured Paper and a piece of the gorgeous Graceful Glass Vellum.

I stamped the text on to the Wood Textured paper and then stamped the text Thankful again on a darker piece of Wood Textured paper. For this card a lot of fussy cutting is used. I fussy cutted the tekst then and added on my paper with dimensionals. I coloured my vase with flowers with Stampin' Markers. At the end of this post you can find a Supply List to see all the items used.

I placed two diecutted circles behind my flowers, a stitched circle and a scalloped circle. To finish the card I placed the flowers and pot with dimensionals on to the circles. If you'd like to see how this card came about, you can watch the Video Tutorial below or on YouTube in HD!
