Stampin with Liz Design - MFT Stamps: Party Like a Pirate Card!

Hi there crafty friends! I'm so glad to share a new card with you today, I finally found some crafting time, yeah! Sharing a fun slimline card, using one of my favorite stamp sets, Party Like a Pirate from My Favorite Things! This set is an older set and retired by now, but so much fun!

I started this card with a slimline card base that I created from white cardstock. I added a piece of patterned paper on the front and then added a front panel, which I diecutted with the stitched rectangle die from the Slimline Starter Die-namics set. I blended a sky on there with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink and then added the beach part. I diecutted white cardstock for this piece, using the Slimline Snow Drifts Die-namics set. 

I blended this part with Rusty Hinge, Brushed Corduroy and Antique Linen Ranger Distress Ink. I then added the fun images which I stamped with the amazing Party Like a Pirate stamp set, fuzzy cutted them and then coloured them with Copic Markers. The palm trees I couldn't leave behind from this fun beach scene, they are from the Penguins in Paradise stamp set. All items used are from My Favorite Things.

Stampin with Liz Design: Cutieasaurus Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! Today's post is all about dinasaurs! You can find the cute creatures in the Cutieasaurus stamp set from My Favorite Things!  I created a fun card today with them after an idea that I saw coming by on the internet from Michelle Short, so this card is a little bit me and a little bit her!

Hoi allemaal! Welkom bij weer een nieuwe Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! Vandaag staat mijn blog post geheel in het teken van dinosaurussen! Je vind deze schattige diertjes in de Cutieasaurus stempelset van My Favorite Things! Ik heb een kaart gemaakt met deze set naar een idee dat ik op internet voorbij zag komen van Michelle Short, dus het idee voor deze kaart is een beetje van mij en een beetje van haar!

I just loved her card and started working with her idea. I used a white base in A2 size and diecutted a front panel with a stitched rectangle die, which I started working my background and stamped images one. This card is just one layer. I started stamping the images I wanted to have up front, then masking them and stamping the images I wanted behind them, so everything will fit just right behind each other.

Ik vond haar kaartje erg leuk en ben met haar idee aan de slag gegaan. Ik heb een witte kaart basis genomen in A2 formaat en heb hierna een front gestanst met een stitched rectangle framelits, waar ik mijn achtergrond en stempelafbeeldingen op heb aangebracht. Deze kaart is geheel one layer. Ik ben begonnen met stempelen van de afbeeldingen die ik voorop wilde hebben. Vervolgens mask je deze met masking papier en stempel je de afbeeldingen die je op de achtergrond wilt hebben, zodat alles precies achter elkaar past.

The mountains are from the stamp set Scene it from Clearly Besotted. I coloured all my images with Copic Markers, except for the sky, I blended the sky with Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I added the text from the set on black cardstock using Versamark ink, white embossing powder and a heat tool.

De bergen komen uit de stempelset Scene It van Clearly Besotted. Ik heb alle afbeeldingen ingekleurd met Copic Markers, behalve de lucht, deze heb ik geblend met Salty Ocean en Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inkt van Ranger. Ik bheb de tekst toegevoegd op zwart cardstock met Versamark inkt, wit embossing poeder en een heat tool.

Stampin with Liz Design: Storybook Friends!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! Today I'm sharing another card that I created with the gorgeous stamp set Storybook Friends from Hello Bluebird! This set is just amazing, reminds me of old childrens books, so much fun!

Hoi allemaal! Welkom bij weer een nieuwe Stampin with Liz Design Blog Hop! Vandaag deel ik graag een nieuw kaartje met jullie, gemaakt met de Storybook Friends stempelset van Hello Bluebird! Deze set is zo gaaf, net een oude prent uit een kinderboek, erg leuk!

I used a white card base for this card and a white panel diecutted with the Stitched Framelits Dies from Mft stamps. I stamped the fun scene from the set on my background and coloured the grass, trees and road with Copic Markers. I blended the sky with Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink from Ranger.

Ik heb een witte kaartbasis genomen en een witte panel die gestanst is met de Stitched Framelits Dies van Mft stamps. Ik heb de leuke achtergrond gestempeld uit de set en het gras, pad en de bomen gekleurd met Copic Markers. De lucht heb ik geblend met Salty Ocean en Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inkt van Ranger. 

I added text in the upper middle part and then stamped and diecutted the cute ladies from the stamp set. We are still discussing at home weather it's a bunny and mouse, or if it's a rat. Well, cute they are! I added them with dimensionals on to my card. I also raised the front panel a bit from my card base by using dimensionals. Hope you enjoyed these sweeties! Ik heb de tekst gestempeld boven in het midden en vervolgens de schattige dames uit de stempelset. We zijn het hier in huis nog steeds niet helemaal eens of het nu een konijntje met muis, of toch een ratje is. Leuk zijn ze in ieder geval! Ik heb ze op mijn kaart aangebracht met dimensionals. Ook heb ik mijn panel met dimensionals op de kaart basis aangebracht. Hoop dat je genoten hebt van deze schatjes! Ik zend deze kaart graag in naar de nieuwe woensdag challenge die van start is gegaan bij Simon Says Stamps deze week!
