Stampin with Liz Design: Hanging with my Gnomies Card!

Hi there crafters! As promised yesterday, here's my entry for the last category of the 2020 Superstar Contest at My Favorite Things, so exciting! I love Mft stamps give us crafters this amazing opportunity to compete! I'm entering this fun card in to the category Coloring Virtuoso! I used the amazing stamp set Hanging with my Gnomies for this card, certainly one of my favorite stamp sets to colour!

I started this card with a white card base and then diecutted a front panel with a Stitched Rectangle die on which I created a one layer scene! I started stamping the images from the Hanging with my Gnomies stamp set that I wanted to have up front, so the two gnomies and the mushroom. I then masked them, to stamp more images behind them.

I then stamped the cutest little house ever, the second mushroom and the skyline with bush from the Scene Builder stamp set. I stamped the clouds from the Scene Builder set in a light colour, so you wouldn't see the lines and then I started colouring with my Copic Markers. I added a little river after an idea I saw at Amy Young, she is a really great colour artist for sure, and added some step stones in front of the house. So just one layer and all Copic Markers, so fun to do! I could just see these two gnomes living there for real, lol!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: My Favorite Things Boo Crew Box!

Hi everyone! Today I'm back with another entry for the 2020 Card Design Superstar Challenge at My Favorite Things! I'm always a bit nervous entering a contest, putting your art out there, but I guess that will be the same for most of you, lol. I'm entering this fun little card box in the Innovation Master category, so crossing my thumbs again! I used the Boo Crew stamp set and the Haunted House dies for my project for today!

I love a fun card box, they are so much fun to do! I do admit, I don't always take the time to start a 3D project, but they are certainly worth the time! I added a little innovating feature to this box, by using a little led light behind the window! I started this box by measuring all the different parts and then adding my blended cardstock and images on there.

I blended the background and the front with Black Soot, Peeled Paint, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink. I diecutted the images from the Haunted House dies and coloured them by using Barn Yard and Black Soot Distress ink. I coloured the door and window frames with Copics, as the images from the Boo Crew set I stamped and fussy cutted. I diecutted a tree and gate from black cardstock using the Haunted House and Spooky Fence dies. I added a little led light behind the vellum windows and a preasure button behind the back of my box, using the text 'Press' from the Interactive Labels stamp set.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope you liked my little 3D project with light! I'll be back tomorrow with an entry for the category Coloring Virtuoso!

Stampin with Liz Design: My Favorite Things Snow Buddies Card!

Hi there crafters! I'm so excited today to share this card that I'm sending in to the new 2020 Card Design Superstar Challenge at My Favorite Things! I so love their amazing products, that I'm crossing my fingers on my entry! I created this fun CAS card with the amazing stamp set Snow Buddies and will send this card in to the Clean and Simple Genius challenge!

As you probably know, I do love a good CAS card! The clean, white look with a stunning image is just so much fun! Well, fun images you'll certainly find in this stamp set! I started this card with a white card base and added a front panel that I diecutted with a Wonky Stitched Rectangle die.

I blended a piece on the upper part of my panel, using Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink. I added some snow with a white gel marker. I then stamped the text from the set 'I have snow much fun when we're together' underneath where I wanted to place my stamped images. I stamped 4 amazing images from this stamp set, fussy cutted them and coloured them with Copic Markers. I added them with dimensionals on to my panel, and then added my panel with dimensionals on to my card base! Are you crossing your thumbs with me? If you are entering as well, good luck to you too!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!
