MFT Stamps - Christmas Carols Card!

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a cute card created with the super adorable stamp set Christmas Carols from My Favorite Things! This set is just the cutest Christmas stamp set ever! 

I started this card with a card base in A2 size created from Sno Cone Cardstock. I then added a front panel, which I diecutted from white cardstock with a die from the A2 Stitched Rectangle Stax Die-namics. 

I then stamped the cute images from the stamp set on to my front panel and masked these with masking paper. I kept this card a one layer card, so I masked the images to keep them clean before started blending. I blended my background in soft pink and blue and added some blue splatters. I then removed the masking paper and coloured the images with Copic Markers. I added the fun sentiment from the set at the top of my card to finish with!

MFT Stamps - Outside the Box Challenge!

Hi there crafters! Welcome to a new Outside the Box Challenge at MFT Stamps! For all of you who love creating a box card, check out the new challenge! This challenge we'd like you to create a mini slimline card box! Share your slimline designs on the MFT blog! I used the fun stamp set Christmas Carols for this card!

I started this card by creating a mini slimline card box frame from Summer Splash Cardstock, which I diecutted with the Mini Slimline Outside the Box Die-namics. I then added stitched white cardstock pieces, which I also diecutted with these amazing box card dies. I added a sentiment from the stamp set and blended a blue background to give this card a fun winter look. 

I love adding loads of splatters to my blended scenes, for which I use ink and a small brush. I then added three layers of snow undergrounds, for which I used the Mini Slimline Outside the Box Snow Drifts Die-namics. I then stamped all the cute animals from the stamp set, diecutted them with the coordinating dies and coloured them with Copic Markers. You can easily flatten this card and just send it to someone special in an envelope!

My Favorite Things September Release Countdown Day 5!

Hi there crafters! Are you all ready for the September Release Countdown Day 5 at My Favorite Things?  Today the team is sharing some gorgeous inspiration with a few amazing products of this release! Stay tuned for the introduction of more amazing products the next few days! I created an adorable card for today with the cute new Christmas Carols stamp set!

I started this adorable card with just a white card base in A2 size created from white cardstock. I wanted this card to be a one layer card, so I started stamping the fun images from this amazing stamp set that I wanted to be up front. I then masked these images with masking paper. 

You cover your images with masking paper, to keep them nice and clean, then you can start stamping images behind your first images, without mixing the two images. I stamped the rest of my images and masked each and every one before I started blending my background, using different colours of Ranger Distress Oxide ink. I added loads of snow splatters on to my background and coloured the adorable images with Copic Markers.
