Stampin with Liz Design: SugarPea Designs Mix it Up Challenge!

Hi everyone! I'm excited to announce that a new Mix it Up Challenge starts today at SugarPea Designs! Hope to see some of you giving this fun challenge a try! I created this shiny fun card with the Mermaid Kisses stamp set, hope you love some glitter!

You can enter this challenge worldwide and have a change on winning a $ 50 gift certificate! The more times you enter, the better chance you have! You can pick the sketch, or mix them both! I choose t0 use the sketch this time!

I used a soft blue card base for this adorable card and added a front panel, which I diecutted with a die from the Postage Stamps SugarCuts. I created a fun background on this panel using the Wave Stencil and Distress Oxide ink. I used glitter on my blended part to make the background really sparkle!

I added a piece of patterned paper at the top of my blended part, just as a subtle item to match the sketch. I then stamped, diecutted and coloured the fun images from the amazing Mermaid Kisses stamp set and added them on to this cute card! I used glitter for the mermaid's tail as well, sparkles all over this card!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: SugarPea Designs Mix it Up Challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'm so excited to share some fun inspiration for the new Mix It Up Challenge at SugarPea Designs! We have a warm and cozy moodboard this month and a gorgeous sketch! I used the Beautiful Books stamp set and Open Book SugarCuts for this fun card!

You can enter this challenge worldwide and have a change on winning a $ 50 gift certificate! The more times you enter, the better chance you have! You can pick the sketch, or mix them both! I choose t0 use the sketch as well as the moodboard this time!

I started this card by using a white card base and then layering my card base up. I diecutted a piece of brown cardstock with the stitched rectangle die from the Card Front Element Builder set and then diecutted a kraft piece with the Postage Stamp die cut. I stamped text on there using the Handwritten Letter background stamp!

I then diecutted a piece of white cardstock with the same Postage Stamp diecut and diecutted it again with a curving die from the Card Front Element Builder I set. I then diecutted different pieces with the Open Book dies, to create a book and flower bouquet with, which I added to my card. For the finishing touch, I used the text and glasses stamp from the Beautiful Books stamp set!

Stampin with Liz Design: SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing some inspiration for the Mix It Up Challenge that is up this month at SugarPea Designs! I created this card with the fun stamp set To Infinity & Beyond! Hope you will give this fun challenge a go!

You can enter this challenge worldwide and have a change on winning a $ 50 gift certificate! The more times you enter, the better chance you have! You can pick the sketch, or mix them both! I choose t0 use the sketch this time!

I started this card with a white card base in 2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). I then diecutted a front panel with the stitched die which is the same size as the front of my card from the Card Front Element Builder SugarCuts. I blended this piece in dark blue colours using Distress Oxide ink from Ranger.

I wanted to match the sketch by creating a white space between the sky. So I choose to do that by fussy cutting clouds, which I drew on to my card using the Outdoor Scene Builder Stencil. I then stamped the fun images from the stamp set, diecutted them and then coloured them with Copic Markers. I added the text on to blue paper with Versamark ink and white embossing powder, which I head setted to create a fun white textured text. I added my banner and the sky parts with dimensionals on to my card.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: SugarPea Designs Mix it Up Challenge #68!

Hi everyone! Have you seen the fun Mix It Up challenge that is up on the SugarPea Design blog? If you have entered already, you still have time to! I created a fun card to inspire you with, using the the amazing stamp set Hey Summer! Hope to see you all there!

I just love the colours of this moodboard, you can enter worldwide and have a change on winning a $ 50 gift certificate! The more times you enter, the better chance you have! You can pick the moodboard, or the sketch, or mix them both! I choose to mix them!

I started this card with a card base in a soft blue colour! I then diecutted a piece of white cardstock with the SugarCut - Postage Stamp and started on working on a background. I masked the sides of my panel to keep nice white borders and started blending waves and clouds using the Waves and the Outdoor Scene Builder stencil and Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink from Ranger.

I stamped the tekst Hey Dude from the Hey Summer set just right underneath the waves I created. I then stamped, diecutted and coloured the fun images from this set. I so love this beach bum, I added an ice cream in his hands, placed a surfboard right behind him and added the cutest little bird on top! Who doesn't want to go hang out on the beach now?

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time! Stay safe everyone!
