Stampin with Liz Design: Hello Bluebird Skating Party Card!

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a card full of skating fun! How I loved skating when I was younger, unfortunately skating on natural ice is a long time ago for me, winters seem to really get warmer (and wetter, lol) over here. But these cuties are having fun for sure! They are from the Skating Party stamp set from Hello Bluebird Stamps!

I choose a slimline card base for this card on which I added a front panel that I diecutted with the Slim Card Basics die from mama Elephant. I created a fun winter background on there by blending ice and a winter sky. I used the Loads of Joy stamp set from My Favorite Things to stamp a tree line. I then drew an ice surface for these adorable critters to skate on!

I added some snow in the sky, giving this card a real winter feel and then stamped the critters from the set, fussy cutted them and coloured them with Copic Markers. I added these cuties with dimensionals on to my card. Enjoying a great winter day!

Stampin with Liz Design: Skating Party Card!

Hi there fellow crafters! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! Today I'm sharing some winter fun, created with the Skating Party stamp set from Hello Bluebird Stamps! 

Hoi allemaal! Welkom bij weer een nieuwe Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! Vandaag deel ik een leuke winterkaart, gemaakt met de stempelset Skating Party van Hello Bluebird stamps! 

Next to a white Christmas is ice skating the only advantage for me at winter, lol. I used to love iceskating, unfortunately there aren't many ice days in the Neterlands in winter time, so it has been a long while. Not even sure I can still skate, lol, so I'm enjoying skating today just on my card!

Naast een witte kerst is schaatsen wat mij betreft het enige positieve aan de winter, haha. Ik mocht vroeger graag schaatsen, maar het is toch wel een heel aantal jaar geleden dat ik geschaatst heb, geen idee of ik het überhaupt nog zou kunnen, haha, dus dan maar genieten van schaatsen op mijn kaart! 

I created a soft background for these skating cuties, using the Skating Pond Scene Die from Hello Bluebird. This amazing die is a total background package, you just need to add some colour!  I added the fun critters after stamping, colouring and diecutting them with dimensionals!

Ik heb een zachte achtergrond voor de leuke schaatsende diertjes gemaakt met de Skating Pond Scene Die van Hello Bluebird. Met deze geweldige Die maak je in één keer een hele achtergrond, je hoeft alleen nog maar kleur aan te brengen! Ik heb de leuke diertjes met dimensionals op mijn kaart aangebracht nadat ik ze gestempeld, gekleurd en gestanst heb!
