Sometimes you come across an amazing idea on the internet which you can immedtiately see your interpetion with it with a stamp set that you have lying on your shelves. Joy Taylor created an amazing card which I thought would be a great idea to incorporate the Lilypad Lake stamp set in! Here's my version of her amazing idea!
Voor beide kaarten heb ik een basis van Thick Whisper White Cardstock gebruikt. Dit papier is zeker favoriet hier, het geeft je kaart een prachtige stevige basis. Daarnaast heb ik voor beide kaarten om het een kleur te geven in water look het prachtige design papier van Stampin Up gebruikt.
I used a base of Thick Whisper White Cardstock for both my cards. I really love this paper, it gives your card a real steady base. Next to the cardstock I used the gorgeous design paper from Stampin Up to give both cards the 'lake' feel.
Het water heb ik in zachte kleuren met inkt en een aquapainter op watercolor papier aangebracht. ik heb de ondergrond daarna gestanst met de Swirly Scribbles Thinlits. De rand van de rechthoek die je in het midden aantreft maak je met gemak met de stitched framelits uit de Stitched Labels Framelits set.
I coloured the water in soft colours with ink and an Aquapainter on Watercolor Paper. I then diecutted the water pieces with the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits. The border of the rectangle in the middle is easily applied by using the stitched framelits from the Stitched Labels Framelits set.
De afbeeldingen zijn ingekleurd met de Stampin' Blends Markers. Deze zijn inmiddels in een heel aantal kleuren verkrijgbaar en kleuren heerlijk.
