MFT Stamps - Sketch Challenge!

Hi there everyone! Welcome to our weekly new Sketch Challenge at MFT Stamps! Every wednesday we have a fun new sketch up for you! Join us to have a change at winning a $ 50 gift Voucher at MFT Stamps! I created a fun card for today, using the amazing Best Beast Friends stamp set!

Sketch Challenges are just the best! You are free to interpret them anyway you'd like! Hope loads of you are joining this weeks challenge, can't wait to see your creations! I used the circles, which I blended, to match the sketch.

I started my card with a white card base in A2 size and surprisingly, lol, not if you know me, I added a front panel with nice stitched borders! If you know my cards, you know I love these! I used the largest die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangle die-namics to create my panel with! I blended two fun rectangles with blue ink using the Herrigbone Stencil!

I then started stamping the fun images from the stamp set on to my card. I wanted the beach house to fall behind the other images, so I stamped the palm tree, the cat and the crab first. I then masked them with masking paper and then stamped the beach house, so it would fall right behind my first images. I removed my masking paper and coloured my images with Copic Markers. I added the fun sentiment from the set to finish this card with!

Create cards, layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch for a change to win a gift voucher at My Favorite Things! You can add your project to the InLinkz that are up at the MFT Stamps Blog! Good luck!

Create a Smile _ Here Comes Santa Claus Card!

Hi there crafty friends! Today I'm sharing a second card created with the new stamps from this month's Create a Smile release! These cute little stamp sets are so much fun! I created this card with the fun Here Comes Santa Claus and the adorable Deercorating stamp set!

I started this card with a fun mini slimline card base created from white cardstock. I then added a fun front panel, which I diecutted with the amazing Postage Slimline Die-namics. Just love the borders of these fun dies! I wanted this card to be a one layer card, so I stamped the santa in his sled and the deer first, masked them and then stamped the tree. I then masked the tree as well, to be able to blend a fun background.

I masked the bottom part before I started blending, to create a snowy underground. I blended the sky using different colours of Ranger Oxide Distress ink and added loads of splatters to give this card a winter feel! I then removed the masking paper from my images and coloured them with Copic Markers. I stamped the sentiment from the Santa Claus stamp set to finish this card with!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!
