Stampin with Liz Design: CAS on Friday Challenges!

Hi there crafters! Are you ready for a new CAS on Friday Challenge! Today we have a theme I love, Animals! So for me it was easy peasy thinking of a card, lol, I love my critter stamps! For this card I choose the Clearly Besotted stamp set Cool Dude!

I started my card with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4:  x 5 1/2"). I then diecutted a front panel with a Stitched Rectangle Die and stamped a fun background on this piece using the Scene it More stamp set from Clearly Besotted. In this set you will find small, very fun and complete scene images, just love it!

I coloured my scene with Copic Markers, just keeping the colour centered in the upper middle part of my card. I stamped the text 'You're turtley Awesome at the left, just underneath my coloured beach. I just love a fun text matching the stamp set, don't you? I then stamped the cool turtles from the set, fussycutted and coloured them. I added these cool dudes with dimensionals on to my card!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time! Stay safe everyone!

Stampin with Liz Design: HoneyBee Stamps Safari Babies Card!

Hi there crafters! Today I'm sharing a super adorable card created with the Safari Babies stamp set from HoneyBee Stamps. This amazing stamp set was part of their latest release and I was one of  the lucky winners of their release giveaway! That was a happy dance here for sure!!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and blended the front of my card using a Cloud stencil and Ranger Distress Oxide ink in the colours Worn Lipstick, Spun Sugar and Tattered Rose. I added some splatters with a dark pink ink.

I then created a front panel, slighty smaller then my card with a circle diecutted in the middle. I blended a few stars with Spun Sugar ink on to my panel using the Twinkle, Twinke Stencil which was also in the new release and send to lucky me! I added the text 'You're going to be Amazing Parent' from the stamp set in the middle underneath the circle and applied two drops of Party Pink Nuvo Crystal Drops next to the text. I then stamped, diecutted and coloured the amazingly adorable elephant image and added this and my front panel with dimensionals on to my card base. Cute in pink for sure!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time! Stay safe everyone!

Stampin with Liz Design: Create a Smile Challenges!

Hi everyone! Are you all ready for a new Create a Smile Challenge? Today we are having a fun sketch theme! Can't wait to see what you will all create! I created a fun card with the All Hands on Deck stamp set to inspire you all with!

A sketch is certainly a fun way to get your creativity started. You can choose to follow a sketch the way it's designed or take parts from it into a free interpretation to get you started! As long as we can see the original sketch back into your design! I choose to look at it in a free manner, I took the three large stripes and thought it would be fun to use the flag poles to represent them!
I started my card with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and then diecutted a front panel with a Wonky Stitched Rectangle die. I blended my panel with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink and added some splatters and white and Navy Blue drops with Nuvo Crystal Drops on to it. I stamped the word Yoho! twice from the stamp set before adding the images.

I then diecutted a second and third piece for my front panel, once with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die and again with a Snow Drifts die. I blended these with Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink, to create beach sand. I then stamped, fussy cutted and coloured the fun images from the set with Copic Markers. I added them and the beach on to my card using dimensionals. Aren't these koala pirates adorable?

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time! Stay safe everyone!

Stampin with Liz Design: SugarPea Designs Mix- it Up Challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing some fun new inspiration for the Mix It Up Challenge #67 at SugarPea Designs! I created this card with the gorgeous Wheelie Amazing stamp set!

I really love this challenge! I used a mix, I used the moodboard as well as the skecth, but feel free to use everything you get out of both of them! Can't wait to see all of your creations!

I choose to use a cardbase in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and added a piece of patterned paper, which is just the right size for this card type, from the Sugar & Spice paper pad. I then diecutted a front panel with a die from the Card Front Element Builder SugarCuts. I started blending a background using Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink from Ranger, a blending tool and the new Outdoor Builder Scene Stencil to create the clouds with.

I then diecutted a piece of paper with the Homescape Scape SugarCuts and then diecutted this paper againg with the same die as I used to diecut my front panel with, to make it a perfect fit. I coloured the trees with Copic Markers and blended the grass and road with ink. I then added a circle that I also blended and diecutted with the scalloped die. I added some splatters on this piece with water and gold ink. I then stamped and fussy cutted the images from the Wheelie Amazing stamp set. I coloured the images further with Copic Markers and added them on to my card using dimensionals. You're My Ride or Die!
