Stampin with Liz Design: SugarPea Designs Mix it Up Challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing some fun inspiration for the SugarPea Designs Mix it up Challenge for this month! Have you seen their challenge? I created a fun summer card with the Hey Summer stamp set!

You can enter this challenge worldwide and have a change on winning a $ 50 gift certificate! The more times you enter, the better chance you have! You can pick the sketch, or mix them both! I choose to use both this time!

I started this card with a white card base, adding a front panel I diecutted with a die from the Stitched Rectangles dies. I masked a rectangle in the middle of my front with masking tape and starting working on a fun summer background. I just love the sea, so I blended a sea using the Wave Stencil and Ranger Distress Oxide ink in blue colours. I blended the sky as well in a softer colour blue.

I then added the text 'Hi There' from the stamp set, which I stamped with Versamark ink on black paper, sprinkled with white embossingpowder and heat setted it with a heat tool. I then added a circle on which I also blended a background using the Wave stencil. I then started working on the vocal point of this card, the fun images from the stamp set. I stamped these cool guys, diecutted them with coordinating dies and coloured them with Copic Markers before adding them on to my card using dimensionals.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: SugarPea Designs Mix it up Challenge!

Hi there crafters! Sharing a fun underwater card today with you all that I created for this months Mix it up Challenge at SugarPea Designs! I used one of my favorite stamp sets for this card, the Mermaid Kisses stamp set!

You can enter this challenge worldwide and have a change on winning a $ 50 gift certificate! The more times you enter, the better chance you have! You can pick the sketch, or mix them both! I choose to use the sketch this time!

I started this fun acrd with a white card base and added a front panel, which I diecutted from white cardstock with the Stitched Rectangle die from the Card Front Element Builder dies. I blended a totally blue background on there with three colours of blue Ranger Distress Oxide inks. I then added loads of splatters, to make it more fun!

After blending, I started working on a text block for my card. I used black cardstock and Versamark ink. After stamping the text I used white embossing powder and a heat tool to set the stamped text. I then stamped the fun images from the set, diecutted them with the coordinating dies, and coloured them with Copic Markers, before adding them on to my card using dimensionals.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: SugarPea Designs Strike Up the Band Card!

Hi there everyone! Today I'm sharing a new card over at the SugarPea Designs blog! I created this card with on of my favorite stamp sets, called Strike Up the Band! I just love the cute critters in this set playing their music!

I choose a slimline base for this card, and masked the sides with masking tape to keep them clean and white. I blended a soft pink background after masking, using the Outdoor Scene Builder stencil, to create the grass and clouds with!

I then stamped the text 'It's Your Birthday! Strike Up The Band' in the upper middle and added some music notes, using a pink ink. I added some Nuvo Drops, to make it even more fun and then stamped, diecutted and coloured all the cute images from the stamp set, before adding them on to this adorable card using dimensionals.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: SugarPea Designs Mix it up Challenge!

Hi there lovelies! Today I'm sharing some adorable new inspiration with you all for this months Mix it up Challenge at SugarPea Designs! I used the cute stamp set Love Machine for this card!

You can enter this challenge worldwide and have a change on winning a $ 50 gift certificate! The more times you enter, the better chance you have! You can pick the sketch, or mix them both! I choose to use the sketch this time!

I used a white A2 card base for this card and then added a front panel, which I diecutted with a Stitched Rectangle die from the Card Front Element Builder set. I blended a fun background on this panel, using masking tape to create a rectangle with a white circle space in the middle.

I used a soft pink ink for the blending part and then used a darker pink ink to add the hearts, for which I used the Cute Hearts Stencil. I then stamped the text and hearts from the Love Machine stamp set on my panel and the cutest robot and her robot dog on another piece of white cardstock. I diecutted these cuties and coloured them with Copic Markers, before adding them on to my card using dimensionals.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

You can enter this challenge worldwide and have a change on winning a $ 50 gift certificate! The more times you enter, the better chance you have! You can pick the sketch, or mix them both! I choose to use the sketch this time!

I started this card with a white card base on which I added a front panel that I diecutted with a Stitched Rectangle Die. I then blended a fun background to match the rectangle block from the sketch in fun pink colours, adding loads of splatters to my blended part! Blending is easy and fun to do, I use Distress Oxide inks. I used masking tape to keep the upper and lower part clean and white.

I stamped the text from the stamp set just underneath my blended part on the right. Then I added the fun images from the stamp set. I stamped two of the adorable monkeys and a brench. I diecutted them with the coordinating dies and then coloured them with Copic Markers. I added these cuties with dimensionals on to my card.
