Crafty Meraki Dance in the Rain Card!

Hi there crafters! Welcome to the last week of the Merakiversary release at Crafty Meraki! Today I'm sharing a fun slimline card created with the new Dance in the Rain stamp set!

I choose a slimline card base to portray these proud peacocks on. I diecutted a front panel with a Stitched rectangle slimline die and blended a fun background on, using Ranger Distress Oxide ink. I added loads of splatters to make the background a bit more interesting!

I then stamped, diecutted and coloured the fun images from the stamp set and added them on to my card using dimensionals. I added the text 'Be aware that you are Rare' which I stamped with Versamark ink, sprinkled with white embossing powder and heat setted with a heat tool.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Crafty Meraki Birthday Slimline Tag!

Hi there crafters! Today I'm sharing a fun tag that I created with the new Birthday Slimline Tag die from the Merakiversary release! I also used the cutest little bunny from the new Don't Worry be Hoppy stamp set!

I used pink colours for this sweet tag, it's a two layer tag, with dimensionals in between, to create a bit of a peek-a-boo feel. I blended the first part in a bright pink colours and added loads of splatters on to this piece. I then blended the front part in a soft pink colour using a cloud stencil. I diecutted this front piece with the amazing die, leaving the word Birthday!

I then added some sequins and ribbons. The word wishes I diecutted from the dies with black foam and added this piece underneath the Birthday negative space. To finish this cute tag, I added a stamped, diecutted and coloured bunny from the Don't Worry Be Hoppy stamp set!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: CAS on Friday Challenges!

Hi everyone! Today it's all green at the CAS on Friday Challenges! You can guess what this weeks theme is, lol, yes, green it is! I created this fun card in green colours with the Let's Stick Together stamp set from My Favorite Things!

I love a CAS card, which means clean and simple. For me it mostly means a white card base, with just a limited scene. I love going all out there as well, but I also love loads of white, to make an image just pop! I added a front panel to my white card, which I diecutted with a stitched rectangle die.

I blended a background on there, using the Splash It Stencil from Clearly Besotted and two colours of green Ranger Distress Oxide ink. I stamped the text from the stamp set just underneath the fun splashes, like someone dropped paint on to my card, and added the fun cacti from the set with dimensionals! I can't wait to see what you will come up with in green!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

MFT Stamps - Color Challenge #166!

Hi there crafters! Welcome today at a new Color Challenge at MFT Stamps! We have four new colours for you to get inspired with! Grapesicle, Grape Jelly, Caribbean Sea and Eiffel Tower! No need to use the exact colours, just use colours inspired by the ones we picked! You can enter this challenge by uploading your project up to the InLinkz link at MFT Stamps!

I choose a slimline card base for my card for today, using the adorable stamp set Wheelie Great Friend! I just love the shape of a slimline card, which gives you so many opportunities to create an amazing layout! I started my card with a Caribbean Sea Card base, and added a front panel, which I diecutted with the stitched die from the Slimline Started Die-namics set.

I blended a fun background on there with ink and added loads of different splatters. I then stamped, diecutted and coloured the fun images with Copic Markers, keeping them close to the colours of the sketch. I staged them on pieces road, which I diecutted with the Fast Track Die-namics from White paper, which I blended with Eiffel Tower ink. These biking critters are so adorable!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

MFT Stamps - Wednesday Sketch Challenge #543!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new sketch challenge at My Favorite Things! This week we are having a fun new sketch up, I created a card with the adorable Sky High Friends stamp set with this sketch in mind!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size. I then added a front panel, which I diecutetd with the largest die from the A2 Stax Stitched Rectangles Die-namics. I blended a fun background on this piece.

I added loads of splatters to my sky background, I just love the look they bring! I masked the lower part of my card to keep this part nice and white. After blending I removed my used masking paper and added the text from the stamp set 'Wishing on a Star for You'.

I then stamped, diecutted and coloured the amazingly adorable images from this stamp set. I coloured them with Copic Markers, keeping my colours close to the colours I used for my background. I added the pieces to my card using dimensionals.

Create cards, layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch for a change to win a gift voucher at My Favorite Things! You can add your project to the InLinkz that are up at the MFT Stamps Blog! Good luck!
