MFT Stamps - Sketch Challenge!

Hi there everyone! Welcome to our weekly new Sketch Challenge at MFT Stamps! Every wednesday we have a fun new sketch up for you! Join us to have a change at winning a $ 50 gift Voucher at MFT Stamps! I created a fun card for you today with the amazing Sky High Friends stamp set!

I choose a white card base for this card in A2 size. I then added a frame which I diecutted from Sno Cone cardstock with the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frame Die-namics. I then blended the lower piece of my card base in a light blue colour, using a blending tool and ink. 

I then added the upper piece, the clouds. I diecutted a piece of white cardstock for this piece and diecutted it with the Stitched Cloud Edges Die-namics. I blended this piece with ink as well and added loads of white splatters. Then I started stampin all the adorable images from the stamp set, diecutted them with the coordinating dies and coloured them with Copic Markers. I added the sentiment from the set on black cardstock to finish this cute card with.

MFT Stamps - Wednesday Sketch Challenge #543!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new sketch challenge at My Favorite Things! This week we are having a fun new sketch up, I created a card with the adorable Sky High Friends stamp set with this sketch in mind! 

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size. I then added a front panel, which I diecutetd with the largest die from the A2 Stax Stitched Rectangles Die-namics. I blended a fun background on this piece. 

I added loads of splatters to my sky background, I just love the look they bring! I masked the lower part of my card to keep this part nice and white. After blending I removed my used masking paper and added the text from the stamp set 'Wishing on a Star for You'. 

I then stamped, diecutted and coloured the amazingly adorable images from this stamp set. I coloured them with Copic Markers, keeping my colours close to the colours I used for my background. I added the pieces to my card using dimensionals.

MFT Stamps - Wednesday Sketch Challenge #541!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new sketch challenge at My Favorite Things! This week we are having a fun new sketch up, I created a card with the adorable Sky High Friends stamp set with this sketch in mind!

I started my card with a white card base and added a front panel, which I diecutted with the largest rectangle die from the A2 Stax Stitched Rectangle Stax. I started working on a fun night background on this piece. 

I stamped a grass hill underground using the Scene Builder stamp set and coloured it in dark green as it would look at night with Copic Markers. I then masked this part to start blending a purple sky. I added some clouds and loads of white splatters! 

I then added two hot air balloons with the most adorable critters from the stamp set, to match the rectangles of the sketch! This cuties are just floating by to say high! I stamped, diecutted and coloured them with Copic Markers and then added them with dimensionals on to my card. I added the text from the set 'Wishing on a Star for You', which I stamped with Versamark ink, sprinkled with white embossing powder and heat setted with a heat tool.
