Stampin with Liz Design: Jane's Doodles Peony Card!

Hi everyone! Today I'm over at the Jane's Doodles blog with a new flower card! I just love the Peony stamp set, I created a couple of cards with this set before, it's just amazing! If you are thinking of ordering some stamps to get through these weird times, do consider Jane's stamps, they are just amazing!

For my flower card for today I used a soft grey card base and added some stripes to my background using a stencil and the same colour grey ink. I added some white ink in the middle, to make that part a little bit lighter and create a fun effect! I then added some black spatters with black ink and added some fun pink Nuvo drops!

I then stamped the gorgeous Peony flowers from the set and fussy cutted them. I colorued them with different colours of pink Copic Markers. Starting with the darker colour first and then working my way up to the lighter colours, to create some amazing shading. I added my flowers on to the corners of my card with dimensionals and made them a perfect fit by cutting the overlapping parts on the sides away. I added the text Happy Birthday, which I diecutted with an Mft stamps die, in the middle, using white foam!

Hope you all enjoyed this fun card and are safe! Stay inside crafting! Thanks for wathing, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Isabel Cristina Easter Bunnies Card!

Hi there crafters! I'm sharing another Easter card today! For this card I used the Easter Bunnies stamp set from Isabel Cristina Stamps! I know these are tough times, you might be in self quaraintine just as we are and needing something to do to get you through these times. Please think of all the small craft companies out there, they could really need your support. If you are a bit scared about receiving packages right now, you might want to start with digital stamps! When you buy digital stamps, they just pop up in your digital mail box, so no person handling required, it's getting no safer than that, lol! I love Isabel's digital stamps, make sure to check her store!

This adorable stamp set contains loads of cute easter critters, they are all on an egg hunt! I choose a slimline card base for this card from soft blue cardstock and added a front panel on to this base on which I created a fun scene! I blended my front panel with different colours of Ranger Distress Oxide ink, Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, Wilted Violet and Shaded Lilac. I then diecutted two pieces of white cardstock with some Grassy Hills dies and blended those as well, using Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint ink. I added some white spatters on to my background to make it a bit more interesting!

After drying, I printed the tekst Happy Easter from the set on to my background. Doesn't get easier then that! I then printed and fussycutted the fun images from the Easter Bunnies stamp set. These images are very easy to diecut with a Scan 'N Cut Machine from Brother for example. I do own one, but I must admit, I love fussycutting too, very relaxing! I coloured the images with Copic Markers and added them on to my front panel with dimenionals. I then added my front panel on to my card base using dimensionals as well!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time! Stay safe everyone!

Stampin with Liz Design: Isabel Cristina Easter Card!

Hi everyone! Hope you are all still safe! All though these are very scary times, Easter is on it's way. For me Easter means spending time with family and I do hope this year will still be the same, but maybe just the four of us. So today I created a Easter card to get in the spring mood. I used the fun digital stamp set Easter 2020 from Isabel Cristina Stamps!

I love the flowers that you can find in this set, next to a lot of cute critters, bunnies and easter eggs of course! I started this card with a soft blue card base in A2 size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and diecutted a front panel with a Stitched Rectangle Die to create a fun scene on. I blended this piece with Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink from Ranger, using a blending tool and a fun stencil with dots. I added a grass part on the bottom that I diecutted with a grass die and blended with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink.

I then printed the fun images from the digital stamp set and fussy cutted my images. I coloured them with Copic Markers and added all the amazing images to my card using dimensionals. I just love the egg between the yellow flowers! This card just screams Easter, don't you think?

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Isabel Cristina Summer Piggies Card!

Hi everyone! We are experiencing hard and weird times, so I hope you are all safe and crafting! Today I'm sharing a fun beach card, which I hope will brighten your day a bit! These fun piggies are having a lot of fun at the beach, I so wish it was summer yet, this card really gets me in the mood for some sun and water fun! You can find these fun summer enthousiasts in the Summer Piggies  digital stamp set from Isabel Cristina Stamps!

I used a soft blue card base in A2 size for this card, which is apapproximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I then started working on a fun beach scene.  I used white cardstock for my background and started diecutting pieces with different dies to create some two waves panels and a beach. I blended these with different colours of Ranger Distress Oxide ink. I used the colours Antique Linen, Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch.

I then diecutted a front panel with a stitched rectangle die from blue cardstock and started printing my images from the stamp set. I choose three of the cute piglets in this set and some other images. I fussycutted them after printing and then started colouring these fun images with Copic Markers. I added them to my card using dimensionals. The text is from the set Beach Fun, all thought this set has fun text as well, I just mixed the sets by accident, lol!
