Stampin with Liz Design: Jane's Doodles Peony Card!

Hi everyone! Today I'm over at the Jane's Doodles blog with a new flower card! I just love the Peony stamp set, I created a couple of cards with this set before, it's just amazing! If you are thinking of ordering some stamps to get through these weird times, do consider Jane's stamps, they are just amazing!

For my flower card for today I used a soft grey card base and added some stripes to my background using a stencil and the same colour grey ink. I added some white ink in the middle, to make that part a little bit lighter and create a fun effect! I then added some black spatters with black ink and added some fun pink Nuvo drops!

I then stamped the gorgeous Peony flowers from the set and fussy cutted them. I colorued them with different colours of pink Copic Markers. Starting with the darker colour first and then working my way up to the lighter colours, to create some amazing shading. I added my flowers on to the corners of my card with dimensionals and made them a perfect fit by cutting the overlapping parts on the sides away. I added the text Happy Birthday, which I diecutted with an Mft stamps die, in the middle, using white foam!

Hi my crafty friends! Welcome today at a new Stampin with Liz Design blog post! Today I'm sharing a new gorgeous card with an amazing stamp set from Jane's Doodles! This amazing flower stamp set is called Peony, I created another card with this set before, which you can find it here!

Hoi mijn creatieve lezers! Welkom vandaag bij een nieuwe Stampin with Liz Design blog post! Vandaag deel ik graag een nieuwe, prachtige kaart met jullie gemaakt met een geweldige stempelset van Jane's Doodles! Deze geweldige set is genaamd Peony, ik heb al eerder een kaart met deze set gemaakt, die je hier kunt vinden!

I choose a kraft paper background for my card, which I thought would really make the flowers pop. I added some flowers in the same colour ink and some spatters to make my background a bit more interesting. I then choose a bright colour for these gorgeous flowers, which I stamped on white paper, fussy cutted and coloured them in warm red colours with Copic Markers.

Ik heb gekozen voor een kraft papier achtergrond voor deze kaart, wat een mooi contrast vormt met de bloemen. Ik heb hierop bloemen gestempeld met een zelfde kleur inkt en wat spatters aangebracht om de achtergrond wat interessanter te maken. Ik heb voor de bloemen een felle, rode kleur gekozen en ze op wit papier gestempeld, uitgeknipt en gekleurd in warme rode kleuren met Copic Markers. 

I added my red flowers and some leaves to my card using dimensionals in the upper left corner. Lifting them a bit above my background really gives this card a great look! This flower set comes without sentiments, I must admit I always love having one on my card, so I added the text 'You Warm My Heart' which comes from the Winter Words stamp set.

Ik heb de rode bloemen en wat blaadjes op mijn kaart aangebracht met dimensionals in de linker hoek van mijn kaart. Door ze iets te verhogen, creëer je een prachtig effect op je kaart! In deze stempelset vind je geen tekst, al moet ik eerlijk zeggen dat ik mijn kaart altijd graag voor zie van tekst, dus ik heb de tekst 'You Warm My Heart' toegevoegd die je vind in de stempelset Winter Words.

Hoi allemaal! Welkom bij weer een nieuwe Stampin with Liz Design blog post! Vandaag vind je mij bij Jane's Doodles op haar blog met een nieuwe kaart waarvan ik hoop dat hij jullie inspireert! Voor deze kaart heb ik gebruik gemaakt van de prachtige Peony stempelset! 

I like starting a card by thinking of which background I'm going to use first. I choose to blend a background in different colours of blue for this card to make the pink peony's really pop. I added a nice pattern to it using a background stamp from Altenew and added some white paint spatters. I love how just simply adding some spatters can make your background a whole lot more interesting!

Ik mag graag beginnen met mijn kaart door te bedenken welke achtergrond ik ga gebruiken. Ik heb gekozen om een achtergrond te blenden met verschillende kleuren blauw om de roze pioenrozen prachtig uit te laten komen. Ik heb een mooi patroon aangebracht met een achtergrond stempel van Altenew en heb wat witte inkt spatters aangebracht. Zo gaaf hoe het simpel spatteren met inkt een achtergrond zoveel interessanter kan maken!

To give the beautiful peony's a nice place on my card, I added a frame from gold paper, which I elevated by using dimensionals. I added the peony's on two corners and added the text 'A happy birthday and many more to come!' to finish this cute and elegant card with!

Om de prachtige bloemen een mooie plek om mijn kaart te geven, heb ik een verhoogd frame, met behulp van dimensionals, van goud papier aangebracht, waarbij ik de pioenrozen op twee hoeken heb geplaatst. Met de tekst 'A happy birthday and many more to come' heb ik deze leuke en elegante kaart afgemaakt!
