Stampin with Liz Design: Create a Smile All Hands on Deck Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design blog post! Today Í'm sharing some pirate fun! Have you seen these amazingly cute koala pirates from the All Hands on Deck stamp set from Create a Smile Stamps? They are so my favorite!

I designed for Create a Smile last year and I must admit, I so do miss their amazing challenges. So I thought it would be fun to be at the other end this time, and enter a card. I thought this sketch was so much fun and created a cute beach scene where these adorable little pirates are searching for their treasure!

I started this card with a white card base and then diecutted another piece of white cardstock with a  stitched rectangle die. On this panel, I blended  fun background. Creating a beach on the bottom part, and a soft pink sky above. I diecutted a few clouds from masking paper, to keep nice, white clouds before starting to blend my background.

I then added two strokes of blue blended paper, to create the sea and placed my cute koala's in front of that. I added the text 'You're a Treasure' from the stamp set just a bit above my water part to finish this cute card with. Make sure you check their amazing challenge, there is still time to play along!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Create a Smile Challenges!

Hi everyone, welcome to a new moodboard challenge over at Create a Smile Challenges! I''m so excited today, cause this moodboard is just amazing, but I'm also a bit sad as this will my last challenge at Create a Smile Challenges as a design team member. I had a blast this last year and had the luck to even enjoy two terms, but all good things come to an end and a new team will have the chance to get a go! I will be playing along for sure in the future! For this last challenge I created a fun Christmas card with the A Friendly Turn stamp set!

You can enter this challenge world wide and have a chance at winning a € 25 gift certificate to spend at Create a Smile stamps! For those of you who don't own a Create a Smile stamp set yet, you can use one of the freebies that are up on their site!

I just love this moodboard, Christmas is almost here and this board so gets me in the mood! Hope everyone will enjoy a great Christmas together! I started my card with a white card base on which I added a piece of red patterned paper. I then started working on a front panel, for which I diecutted another piece of patterned paper with a Stitched Rectangle Die. I stamped the text 'Merry Go-Round Christmas' from the A Friendly Turn stamp set at the right corner of my panel.

I them stamped a fun snow background with trees from another set and diecutted this piece with the stitched rectangle die I used before, to make it a perfect match with the sky. I then stamped the gorgeous turning wheel image from the set and completely fussy cutted the image. A bit of work, but totally worth it! I coloured all the images with Copic Markers and added the wheel with dimensionals on to my card!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time! Wishing everyone great holidays!

Stampin with Liz Design: Create a Smile Challenges!

Hi there everyone and welcome to a new sketch challenge at Create a Smile Challenges! This time we have a fun sketch up and I hope a lot of you will enter! I got inspired by the sketch to make this fun CAS card with the Underwaterlove stamp set!

You can enter this challenge world wide and have a chance at winning a € 25 gift certificate to spend at Create a Smile stamps! For those of you who don't own a Create a Smile stamp set yet, you can use one of the freebies that are up on their site!

I thought it would be fun to keep this card clean and simple, so the triangle would really shine! I started with a white card base and then diecutted a piece of white cardstock with a Wonky Stitched Rectangle die on which I blended a triangle in blue underwater colours, using Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink from Ranger.

I added some waterbubbles in blue ink from the Underwaterlove stamp set and then stamped the two fun Narwhals from the set. I always thought these creatures were made up, like a unicorn, but they are real, lol, and gorgeous! I fussy cutted them, coloured them with Copic Markers and added them to my front panel with dimensionals. I stamped the text from the set 'You're a great Catch' at the lowest point of my triangle and added some blue splatters to the background. I then added my front panel with dimensionals on to my card base to finish this fun card with!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Create a Smile Challenges!

Hello and welcome everyone to a new Create a Smile Challenge! Are you in for a fun moodboard? Christine always know to put together amazing moodboards, hopefully this one will inspire you all and I will see you at the Challenge! I created this gorgeous card with the moodboard in mind with the Very Cherry stamp set!

You can enter this challenge world wide and have a chance at winning a € 25 gift certificate to spend at Create a Smile stamps! For those of you who don't own a Create a Smile stamp set yet, you can use one of the freebies that are up on their site!

I started my card with a white card base and added a grey front panel that I diecutted with a Wonky Stitched Rectangle die. I added some white splatters on my background and some light green sequins! Sequins are always fun to use, don't you like them?

I then diecutted a heart with a Stitched Heart die on which I stamped the gorgeous flowers from the Very Cherry stamp set. I blended the background with Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. This colour is very light, so it's easy to then add colour with Copic Markers on to your stamped images! I added the text Have a Wonderful Day to finish this gorgeous flower card with!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: CAS on Friday Challenges!

Hi everyone! It's time for a new CAS on Friday Challenge! This challenge our theme is to use a big sentiment! I love the Happy Birthday Script die from Mft Stamps, so I'm sharing some inspiration with that amazing large sentiment and the Birth-Yay stamp set I've used also!

I started my card by using a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and then added a front panel from white cardstock, on which I created a fun background first. I blended a cloudy sky with the Mini Cloud stencil from Mft Stamps and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink from Ranger.

I then blended two pieces of white cardstock with Peeled Paint and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink and diecutted these pieces with the Grassy Hills dies. I diecutted my big sentiment from soft blue cardstock and added it one to my panel. I then stamped, fussy cutted and coloured the fun images from the stamp set with Copic Markers and added them on to my card!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you all at CAS on Friday Challenges!
