Stampin with Liz Design: Avery Elle Beary Good Friends Card!

Hi there crafters! Today I'm sharing a fun slimline card that I created with the Beary Good Friends stamp set from Avery Elle Stamps! Aren't these critters just the cutest!

Slimline cards are the best, I do love this size! For my card today I diecutted my card base with the Slim Card Basics dies from Mama Elephant! Love these dies! I blended the stiched piece of my card using a blending tool, Chipped Sapphire, Faded Jeans and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I then diecutted a piece of white cardstock with the Grassy Hills dies from Mft stamps, and blended this piece with Mowed Lawn, Peeled Paint and Black Soot Distress Oxide ink.

I then stamped the adorable images from the Beary Good Friends stamp set, fussy cutted them and coloured them with Copic Markers. I stamped the text on my card base, added some white paint drops to create a fun night sky! I then added these cuties with dimensionals on to my card to finish this fun scene!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope you enjoyed this cute card and to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: CAS on Friday Challenges!

Hi everyone! I'm excited to annouce that today a new challenge starts at CAS on Friday Challenges! Hope a lot of you will play along ofcourse! This week we are having a fun sketch, I created a card with the amazing All Hands on Deck stamp set from Create a Smile Stamps!

I love a good CAS (clean and simple) card, for me it means loads of white with a fun image that just shines on a simple card! I started this card with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). I then diecutted a piece of white cardstock with a Stitched Rectangle die and started working on a square that I blended with the Concentric Circles stencil from SugarPea Designs and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I use masking tape to create a square with.

I then stamped the fun images from the stamp set, the cool koala and the two flag poals. You can use a sketch in any way you'd like, you can use the sketch just exactly as you see it, or use it as your own interpretation. I used the two stripes at the left side of the sketch as flag poals, just my interpretation!

I fussy cutted the images and coloured them with Copic Markers. I then stamped two rowes of waves, which are from the Simon stamp set from Jane's Doodles, one on vellum and one on white cardstock, which I blended with dark blue colours of Distress ink. I stamped the white wave on vellum, using Memento Embossing ink and white embossing powder. Just gently heat set this with a heat tool! I added the images with dimensionals on to my card and stamped the text "You're a Treasure just underneath!

I hope you enjoyed todays card! See you all at the challenge I hope!

A sketch is Always a fun way to start creating. You can interpret a sketch anyway you'd like, as long as you can ee the sketch in your project some where. Today I took a very open interpretation of the stripes on the sketch, using the Happy words a my lines! Can't wait to see what you will all create! You can enter this challenge world wide and have a chance at winning a € 25 gift certificate to spend at Create a Smile stamps! For those of you who don't own a Create a Smile stamp set yet, you can use one of the freebies that are up on their site!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and blended the front with Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I then diecutted a front panel with a Stitched Rectangle die and blended this with Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink and the Mini Cloud stencil. I added some spatters with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink to make it a bit more interesting. I added a piece of diecutted grass at the bottom, which I blended with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink.

To stay in line with the challenge, I diecutted my front panel three times with the Cool Cuts Happy dies. I then stamped the fun images from the Cart full of Treasures stamp set, fussy cutted them and coloured this gorgeous image with Copic Markers. I added it to my front panel with dimensionals. To finish this cute card, I added the front panel as well with dimensionals on to the card base, keeping a bit of a peek through space between the pink background and the words on my front!
