MFT Stamps - December Release Countdown Day 4!

Hi there everyone! Just 4 more days left until the new My Favorite Things release will be available! Are you all ready to meet some more amazing new items? I created a fun slimline card for today using the new stamp set Best of Friends and the Dog House Die-namics!

I started this card by creating a slimline card base from white cardstock. I then added a stitched slimline front, which I diecutted from white cardstock using the Slimline Starter Set Die-namics. I then started blending a fun blue background with ink and a blending brush and then added loads of splatters on this piece.

I then stamped all the fun images from the Best of Friends stamp set and diecutted them with the coordinating dies. I coloured all these cute pets with Copic Markers and then diecutted the dog house using the Dog House Die-namics.

MFT Stamps - Sketch Challenge!

Hi there everyone! Welcome to our weekly new Sketch Challenge at MFT Stamps! Every wednesday we have a fun new sketch up for you! Join us to have a change at winning a $ 50 gift Voucher at MFT Stamps! I created a fun slimline card for you today with the adorable Mice Day to Celebrate stamp set!

I started this card with a slimline card base, which are always so fun to use! This sketch leans towards using a slimline size, no problem for me, lol, I love them. I used a white card base in slimline size and then added a front panel which is also from white cardstock on top of a piece of patterned paper. 

I diecutted this piece with the Stitched Rectangle die from the Slimline Starter Basics Die-namics, for sure my favorite die to use! I masked the sides and the wavy bottom to match the sketch, using masking tape. I then started stamping all the adorable images from the stamp set. 

I started with the images I would like to be up front, then masked them and started stamping the images I wanted to fall behind my first images. I also masked these and then blended my background, using different colours of blue ink and a blend brush. I added some splatters and then removed my masking paper. Masking paper protects your images, so they stay nice and clean. I then coloured these celebrating cuties and added the fun sentiment.

MFT Stamps - Slimline Card Challenge!

Hi there everyone! Welcome to a new Slimline Challenge at MFT Stamps! We have a fun new theme this month to get inspired with! This month we are challenging you to shake things up by crafting slimline shaker designs! I used the Slimline Stitched Square Trio Die-namics and the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set for this card!

I starte this card by creating a slimline card base from white cardstock. I blended a sky background on my base, using the Cloud stencil and light blue ink. I then added a frame, which I first diecutted with the largest die from the Slimline Double Stitched Rectangles Die-namics, blended with different blue ink colours and then diecutted with the Slimline Stitched Square Trio Die-namics. I added loads of white splatters to this piece to make it more fun!

I created three shaker windows now and added loads of white sequins behind my windows. I raised my front panel by using foam underneath, and closed the windows, using a piece of window sheet. I then stamped all the fun images from the adorable stamp set, diecutted them with the coordinating dies and coloured them with Copic Markers. These hedgehogs are the just the cutest!!

MFT Stamps - Slimline Card Challenge!

Hi there crafters! Welcome to a new Slimline Challenge at MFT Stamps! We have a fun new theme this month to get inspired with! As we are all enjoying summer, fall is on it's way, so show us your fall creations! I created a fun slimline card using the Harvest Mouse stamp set!

Of course I used a slimline card base for this card, from white cardstock. I then masked the sides, to keep nice, white, clean borders. I then started blending a background on there, using some fun fall colours and the Slimline Cloud Edges Stencil.

I then removed my masking tape and started working on the fun characters from the stamp set. I stamped them, diecutted them with the coordinating dies and coloured them with Copic Markers before adding them to my card using dimensionals.
