MFT Stamps - Mice Day to Celebrate Card!

Hi there crafters! Sharing a super festive and adorable card with you today! I created this cute card with the amazing Mice Day to Celebrate stamp set from My Favorite Things!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size. I then added a front panel, just because I so love stitched borders, lol, diecutted from white cardstock with the largest die from the A2 Wonky Stitched Rectangles Die-namics. I wanted to create a one layer card, so I started with stamping all the cute images I wanted to be up front. I then masked these images and started stamping the images I wanted to fall behind the first stamped images. I then masked these images as well.

After masking I blended the bottom in a brown colour and then the upper part with two blue colours, using the Brick Wall Stencil. I then removed the masking paper and coloured all the cute images with Copic Markers.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

MFT Stamps - Sketch Challenge!

Hi there everyone! Welcome to our weekly new Sketch Challenge at MFT Stamps! Every wednesday we have a fun new sketch up for you! Join us to have a change at winning a $ 50 gift Voucher at MFT Stamps! I created a fun festive card for you today with the festive Mice Day to Celebrate stamp set!

I loved the bubbles on the side of this sketch and thought it would be fun to use balloons for that part. Sketches are always a fun way to start your card with, balloons for instance can give you a great starting point for an idea. I checked my stamp sets which contained balloons and there was the idea!

I started with a white card base in A2 size for this card and then added a front panel, just because I'm so in love with stitched borders, lol! I used the largest die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangles Stax Die-namics to create my front panel with.

I then blended my background in bright blue colours using ink and a blend brush. I added loads of splatters in white and blue, just to make the background more fun! I then added loads of balloons and the cutest little mouse ever! I stamped, diecutted them and coloured them with Copic Markers.

Create cards, layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch for a change to win a gift voucher at My Favorite Things! You can add your project to the InLinkz that are up at the MFT Stamps Blog! Good luck!

I created a fun slimline card for you today with the adorable Mice Day to Celebrate stamp set!

I started this card with a slimline card base, which are always so fun to use! This sketch leans towards using a slimline size, no problem for me, lol, I love them. I used a white card base in slimline size and then added a front panel which is also from white cardstock on top of a piece of patterned paper.

I diecutted this piece with the Stitched Rectangle die from the Slimline Starter Basics Die-namics, for sure my favorite die to use! I masked the sides and the wavy bottom to match the sketch, using masking tape. I then started stamping all the adorable images from the stamp set.

I started with the images I would like to be up front, then masked them and started stamping the images I wanted to fall behind my first images. I also masked these and then blended my background, using different colours of blue ink and a blend brush. I added some splatters and then removed my masking paper. Masking paper protects your images, so they stay nice and clean. I then coloured these celebrating cuties and added the fun sentiment.

Create cards, layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch for a change to win a gift voucher at My Favorite Things! You can add your project to the InLinkz that are up at the MFT Stamps Blog! Good luck!
