Create a Smile - Pig Out Card!

Hi there crafty friends! Are you all enjoying summer? The little piggies like their beach time! I created this fun summer card with the amazing Pig Out stamp set from Create a Smile!

I started this card with a white card base that I diecutted with a Postage stamp Slimline die. I then started creating a fun background on their. I then added layers of beach and waves, all diecutted. I blended my background using Distress Oxide inks from Ranger and stencils. 

I then added some splatters to the water and sky, and some dots to my beach parts. I then stamped the fun images from the set, fussy cutted them and coloured them with Copic Markers. I stamped the fun sentiment on some black cardstock using Versamark ink, sprinkled it with white embossing powder and then heat setted it with a heat tool. Enjoy your summer everyone!

MFT&Friends - December Product Launch!

Hi there crafters! The wait is finally over, the new My Favorite Things December release is now available! Today the Design Team and Friends are sharing one more time some amazing inspiration with the new products! 

I created a fun slimline card using the Zen Friends stamp set! Aren't these critters adorable doing there yoga? I started with a white slimline card base and then added two pieces of patterned paper to create a fun base. I then added a front panel which I diecutted with a die from the Slimline Starter Die-namics. I blended a fun blue sky on this piece and added some rays of sunlight, next to loads of white splatters, which I always love doing.

I then added pieces of grass and sand, all blended with ink and a blend brush and diecutted these pieces with the slimline Grassy Hills and Snow Drifts Die-namics. I then stemped the cute images from the stamp set, diecutted them with the coordinating dies and coloured them with Copic Markers. I added the fun sentiment from the set to finish with!

MFT Stamps - Color Challenge #179!

Hi there crafters! Welcome today at a new Color Challenge at MFT Stamps! We have four new colours this challenge to inspire you with: Amarena Cherry, Limelight, Tropical Teal and Cotton Candy! Create cards, layouts or another project for a chance to win a $ 50 gift Voucher at MFT Stamps! I created a fun card for this challenge using the amazing Selfies with Santa stamp set!

I choose a slimline card base for this card, created from Tropical Teal Cardstock. I then added a front panel, which I diecutted from white cardstock, using the Slimline Starter Set and Slimline Stitched Square Die-namics. I then added a piece of white cardstock behind this frame, on which I stamped the fun images from the stamp set.

I don't make much selfies myself, lol, but I really love the selfies these fun critters made with each other and Santa! I coloured all these amazing images with Copic Markers. Hope to see a lot of you over at the MFT blog to create a fun project for this challenge!

My Favorite Things August Release Countdown Day 2!

Hi there friends! Just two more days for the new My Favorite Things release to be available! This is such an amazing release! Today I'm sharing a fun dino slimline card, using the new Dino Adventures stamp set!

I started this card with a white slimline card base. I love using the slimline size, it gives you an opportunity to portray many characters from the stamp set! I added a front panel, which I diecutted with the largest die from the Double Stitched Slimline Rectangles Die-namics. I started working on a fun background for these fun dino's and there cute little tourist friends!

I used ink to blend with, the Slimline Grassy Hills, the Perfect Pool Stencil and the Stitched Slimline Snow Drifts Die-namics to create the different parts of my card for the grass and sand. I then added all the cute images from the stamp set and the sentiment!

My Favorite Things August Release Countdown Day 5!

Hi there crafters! Are you all ready for the August Release Countdown Day 5 at My Favorite Things?  Today the team is sharing some gorgeous inspiration with a few amazing products of this release! Stay tuned for the introduction of more amazing products the next few days! I created a fun card for today with the adorable new Sweetest Safari stamp set!

I choose a slimline card base for this card to portray all the cute animals in this amazing new set. I started with a card base from white cardstock and then created a fun background for these jungle friends. I then added a frame, which I diecutted from Kraft paper using two dies from the Slimline Double Stitched Rectangles. 

I blended pieces of white cardstock with ink creating a grassy underground, a piece of water, another piece of grass and the sky. I used the Slimline Grassy Hills and the Stitched Slimline Snow Drifts Die-namics to create those pieces with. I then added all the fun images from the stamp set and the sentiment, after diecutting them with the coordinating dies and colouring them with Copic Markers.
