Stampin with Liz Design: So Much Love Card!

Hi and welcome to another blog post! With a lot of winter weather here this week, I had some time on my hands and created another card! I just love this little girl, couldn't stop creating with this fun little stamp set called So Much Love! This fun set is available at Mft stamps!

I wanted to create a sweet, simple card that would go great with this adorable image of the girl making a heart with her hands. I used white cardstock to create a base with for this card, A2 size. I stamped the gorgeous text 'Your Heart is One in a Million' in the middle at the bottom of my card. This text comes from the stamp set Sweet Nothings. Make sure to check this set out at Mft stamps, it contains more gorgous sayings!

I then used masking tape for the bottom to keep it clean and started colouring my background with a Blending tool and Worn Lipstick Distress ink. I applied it just lightly around where I wanted my stamped image to be. I added some hearts with a background stamp called Scattered Hearts. To just get the hearts into my blended part, I masked the rest of my card to keep it from getting stamped on to. I used Worn Lipstick Distress ink again.

I stamped the image on Solar White Neenah cardstock, which is the best choice for colouring with Copic Markers if you'd ask me, I love it. I diecutted her with the coordinating dies to the set and then coloured her. I added this sweet girl with dimensionals on to my card.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: So Much Love Card!

Hi everyone, thanks for tuning on to my blog post for today! I'm sharing a super sweet card in this post, created with some new goodies you can find over at MFT stamps! I just love the sweet gesture this adorable girl makes!

I used a base of white cardstock for this card and added the hearts paper that comes from the new Sweet Stack Paper Pad. I then diecutted a piece of white cardstock with a Stitched Rectangle Die and blended a background with a blending tool and Peacock Feathers Distress ink using a mask that I diecutted with the new Hearts Entwined Dies.

This cute girl comes from the set So Much Love. I diecutted these sweet image and coloured her with Copic Markers. I stamped the text from the same stamp set a the bottom with Black Tuxedo Memento Ink.

I thought it would be nice to create an interactive card with this sweet girl and did by using the Interactive Pull Tabs Dies and Spin & Slide Channels Dies. I placed my piece of soft blue cardstock behind my front paper just behind the created slide Channel and attached the stamped image on there with Slider Elements.

When you pull the slider element up, the image will lift up as well. I'm saving this card for my daughter, she makes the same gestures with her hands often, I'm thinking she will appreciate the fun slider effect.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: MFT & Friends, January Release!

Hi everyone! I'm so excited today to join the My Favourite Things Team as a guest designer for the MFT & Friends Feature, where the new January 2019 release will launce! I feel so honoured to be asked, I'm not showing you guys, but I did a little happy dance for sure over here, lol! You can check all the inspiration with the new products created by the designteam and friends here! Make sure to check my Video Tutorial for this card at the end of this post!

I created a sweet card with the just most adorable stamp set So Much Love! You'll find this sweet girl and 4 great text stamps in this set. Our youngest daughter is nine now and she makes this gesture with her hands forming a heart almost daily, so I love this one!

I created a card base with the thick Solar White Neenah cardstock and diecutted my front with normal Solar White Neenah Cardstock with the Stitched Collage Frame Die. I then blended my background just behind this frame with a blending tool and three colours Distress ink from Ranger, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick and Wilted Violet. I added some spatters of water to create a bit more depth.

I diecutted the cute hearts that you see at the left side of my card with a new fun die, the Hearts Entwined Die using Tickled Pink Cardstock. I placed some window sheets behind the three squares at the right side and placed a few hearts in different colours behind these, to create fun shaker frames. I used Tickled Pink, Ripe Raspberry, Electric Red and Silver Glitter Cardstock for these cute little hearts that I diecutted with a die from the Tag Builder Blueprints 5.

I then stamped the image of the girl with Black Tuxedo Memento ink on Solar White Neenah Cardstock. I coloured her with Copic Markers. Check the photo above to see which colours I used. I added some hearts on her dress with a new background stamp called Scattered Hearts. To finish my card I added the tekst 'I adore You' on a banner that I diecutted with a Die also from the Tag Builder Blueprints 5 set. To see how this fun card came about, check the Video Tutorial below or watch on YouTube in HD here!
