Stampin with Liz Design: Me and My Robot!

Hi everyone! Hope you all enjoyed my last Mama Elephant Card! Of course the Summer Splash stamp set wasn't the only set I ordered from the new release, I also ordered the set Me and My Robot! I don't have boys, but for some reason this set really speaks to me! And that is what crafting is about, isn't it? Creating with fun things!

Hoi allemaal! Ik hoop dat jullie allemaal hebben genoten van het laatste kaart dat ik postte met een set van Mama Elephant! Natuurlijk was de Summer Splash stempelset niet de enige set die ik heb besteld uit de nieuwe release, ik heb ook de set Me and My Robot besteld! Ik heb zelf geen jongens, maar op de een of andere manier spreekt deze set mij heel erg aan! En dat is waarom het gaat met creatief bezig zijn toch? Knutselen met dingen die we leuk vinden!

I started this card by cutting a thick white piece of cardstock into A2 size. I then masked the sides with masking tape to create a border. I blended the inside of my created frame with colours of blue ink to create a outer space scene. I don't think robots live on mars, but I thought it would be fun, lol. I used Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon and Faded Jeans Distress ink from Ranger for the earth and Faded Jeans Distress ink and Blueberry Bushel ink from Stampin' Up for the sky part.

Ik ben deze kaart begonnen door een dik stuk white cardstock af te snijden op A2 formaat. Ik heb de zijkanten afgeschermd met masking tape om een rand wit over te laten. Ik heb vervolgens de binnenzijde van mijn gecreëerde frame ingekleurd met inkt en een blending tool om een space uiterlijk te creëren. Nou denk ik niet dat robots op Mars wonen, haha, maar ik dacht dat het wel een leuke achtergrond zou zijn. Ik heb de aarde gekleurd met Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon en Faded Jeans Distress inkt van Ranger en de lucht met Faded Jeans Distress inkt en Blueberry Bushel inkt van Stampin' Up. 

I then added the gorgeous text Wishing You on to my sky part. The stamp set Me and My Robot does have text, but I wanted something more filling, lol. I used Versamark ink and embossing powder for this. White for the Wishing You part, gold for the A Rock Star Kind of Day part. You can find this amazing text in the stamp set Whishing You from Mama Elephant. I then added some white spatters to my sky part. To finish this card, I stamped, diecutted and coloured the fun Robot from the set and added him with dimensionals on to my card!

Ik heb vervolgens de prachtige tekst Wishing You op mijn lucht gedeelte aangebracht. De stempelset Me and My Robot bevat zeker tekst, maar ik wilde graag iets groters, haha. Ik heb Versamark inkt en embossing poeder gebruikt. Wit voor het Wishing You gedeelte, goud voor het gedeelte A Rock Star Kind of Day. Deze tekst komt uit de stempelset Wishing You van Mama Elephant. Ik heb vervolgens wat witte ink spattertjes aangebracht op de lucht. Om de kaart af te maken hen ik vervolgens de leuke robot gestempeld, gestanst en gekleurd en met dimensionals op mijn kaart bevestigd!

Stampin with Liz Design: Summer Splash Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! I'd like to welcome some new blog readers today, thanks for following me! I'm showing you guys a new card today that I created with a stamp set from the new release from Mama Elephant! Do you guys do a happy dance to when new goodies arrive? This release certainly made me do one, lol! This card is created with the summer fun stamp set Summer Splash!

Hoi allemaal! Welkom bij weer een nieuwe Stampin with Liz Design blog post! Vandaag wil ik graag een aantal nieuwe bloglezers van harte welkom heten, bedankt voor het volgen! Vandaag laat ik jullie graag een nieuwe kaart zien die ik gemaakt het met een stempelset uit de nieuwe release van Mama Elephant! Zijn jullie ook altijd zo blij als een kind wanneer nieuwe spulletjes binnen komen? Ik heb zeker wel een dansje gedaan toen de geweldige nieuwe spulletjes van Mama Elephant binnen kwamen! Deze kaart is gemaakt met de geweldige zomer stempelset Summer Splash!

This stamp set is such a fun set which lends itself perfectly to create a fun beach scene! I started with the sea at the bottom of my card. I blended my white base card in A2 size with Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon Distress ink from Ranger using a blending tool. I then stamped the waves with Black Tuxedo Memento ink on this part, just where the beach starts. I accented the black lines, by adding white lines with a white gel marker to it as if they are the foamy last waves that hit the beach!

Deze stempelset is zo ontzettend leuk en leent zich natuurlijk helemaal om een leuke strand scene mee te maken. Ik ben begonnen met het kleuren van de zee, aan de onderkant van mijn kaart. Ik heb hiervoor een blending tool gebruikt en Tumbled Glass en Mermaid Lagoon Distress inkt van Ranger. Na het kleuren heb ik de golven met Black Tuxedo Memento ink gestempeld op de plek waar het water het strand raakt. Ik heb de zwarte lijntjes nog een keer geaccentueerd met een witte gel marker om de golven dat schuimige uiterlijk te geven wanneer ze het strand oprollen!

Then I added the beach, using the blending technique again. I choose the color Antique Linen, Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I added some dots with Copic Markers and a gel pen on the beach. I then added the sky, with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. I simply created a line between the beach and sky part using masking tape!

Daarna heb ik het strand gekleurd, ook met behulp van de blending techniek. Ik heb hiervoor de Antique Linen Distress Oxide inkt gebruikt. Met wat copic markers en een gel pen heb ik wat stipjes op het strand aangebracht. Vervolgens heb ik de lucht aangebracht met Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inkt. Ik heb het strand en lucht simpel gescheiden gehouden met blenden door het gebruik van een strookje masking tape!

I then stamped and diecutted the fun images from this stamp set. I coloured them with Copic Markers and added them to my card with dimensionals. I still wanted to add some tekst to this card, which isn't included in this fun stamp set, so I choose text from the Carried Away stamp set from Mama Elephant as well! I stamped this on black cardstock using Versamark ink. Then sprinkled it with white embossing powder and heat setted it with a heat tool.

Ik heb vervolgens de gave afbeeldingen uit de set gestempeld en gestanst. Ik heb ze ingekleurd met Copic Markers en dan met dimensionals op mijn kaart aangebracht. Ik wilde nog graag tekst toevoegen aan mijn kaart, deze vind je helaas niet in deze stempelset. Ik heb de tekst gebruikt uit de set Carried Away, ook van Mama Elephant! Deze is gestempeld op zwart cardstock met Versamark inkt en bestrooid met wit embossingpoeder. Dit geheel is vervolgens verhit met een heat tool.

Stampin with Liz Design: Friendly Foxes Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! Tday I'd like to share a card that is strong by it's simplicity! Sometimes a card doesn't need all that to be still gorgeous, right? I created this card with the amazing stamp set Friendly Foxes from Mft stamps!

Hoi allemaal! Welkom bij weer een nieuwe Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! Vandaag laat ik graag een kaart zien die sterk is door zijn eenvoud! Soms hoef je helemaal niet super veel details aan te brengen om tot een prachtig resultaat te komen toch? Ik heb deze kaart gemaakt met de prachtige stempelset Friendly Foxes van Mft stamps!

I created my front by diecutting a piece of white cardstock with the largest die from the Stitched Rectangles Scallop Edge Frame Die-namics. I then started working on a fun scene. I stamped the grass with a stamp that you can find in the set in a straight line, a few times next to each other. I added a few flowers by hand on top. I coloured my grass part with a Copic Marker.

Ik heb een voorkant gecreëerd door een stuk wit cardstock te stansen met de grootste framelits uit de Stitched Rectangles Scallop Edge Frame Die-namics. Ik ben daarna begonnen aan het creëren van een leuke achtergrond. Ik heb met een stempel uit de set de graslijn gestempeld. In een rechte lijn, een aantal keer naast elkaar en vervolgens heb ik de bloemen er zelf bij getekend. Ik heb het gras gekleurd met een Copic Marker.

I then started working on the sky. I love the results when working with stencils. It is so easy to do and it gives such an amazing result! I created this sky with the Mini Cloud stencil, ink and a blending tool. I used the colour Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink from Ranger.

Daarna ben ik begonnen aan de lucht. Ik vind het resultaat altijd prachtig wanneer je werkt met een stencil. Dit werkt zo makkelijk en het lijkt zo mooi, deze lucht is gemaakt met de Mini Cloud stencil, inkt en een blending tool. Ik heb hiervoor de kleur Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inkt van Ranger gebruikt. 

Then I started on the focal point of this card, the super cute little foxes! Aren't these two cute together? I stamped and diecutted the both of them and then coloured them with Copic Markers. I added these cuties with dimensionals on to my card! I placed a slightly smaller card behind my front panel, so the scalloped edges will still be visible!

Hierna ben ik begonnen met de blikvanger van deze kaart, de twee schattige, kleine vosjes! Zijn ze niet leuk samen? Ik heb ze gestempeld en gestanst en hierna ingekleurd met Copic Markers en vervolgens met dimensionals op mijn kaart aangebracht. Ik heb een basis kaart achter mijn voorkant aangebracht, die net iets kleiner is, zodat de geschulpte rand mooi in zicht blijft!

Stampin with Liz Design: Kangaroo Crew Card!

Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing ok today! It's time to share another Kangaroo card! Aren't kangaroos just great? They are always my have to see animals in the zoo, love them! So when I saw the stamp set Kangaroo Crew from Mft stamps, I just had to have them! You guys probably never have that, haha..

Hoi allemaal! Hopelijk zijn jullie allemaal super creatief bezig vandaag! Hier is het tijd om een nieuw kangaroo kaartje te delen! Zijn jullie ook zo weg van kangaroo's? Ik sla hun hok in de dierentuin zeker niet over, vind ze erg gaaf! Toen ik de stempelset Kangaroo Crew van Mft stamps zag, heb ik die dan ook maar direct besteld, hihi! Vast helemaal niet herkenbaar..

I used an A2 sized white base card for these one, but blended the sides of my card with Tumbled Glass, Bundled Sage and Twisted Citron Distress ink from Ranger to make it match the front panel that I created in the same colours. I diecutted my panel with a die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangles set. For the bottom I diecutted the two grass parts also with the Stitched Snow Drifts dies.

Ik heb een basis kaart in A2 maat van wit cardstock gebruikt. De zijkanten hiervan heb ik geblend met Tumbled Glass, Bundled Sage en Twisted Citron Distress ink van Ranger om de voorkant te matchen. Voor de voorkant heb ik een stuk wit cardstock gestanst met een framelits uit de Wonky  Stitched Rectangles set en in dezelfde kleuren geblend. Voor het gras gedeelte heb ik ook nog gestanst met de framelits uit de Stitched Snow Drifts set.

Behind the grassy hills I added a sun that is going under or just coming up. I used a mask for this part that I diecutted first with a circle die, and then blended this part with Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink. I added some rays of sunlight on the sky part using the Radiating Rays stencil and again Tumbled Glass Distress ink.

Achter de groene heuvels heb ik een opkomende of ondergaande zon, tis net hoe je het wilt bekijken, aangebracht. Heel simpel door het maken van een eigen mask met behulp van een circel framelits. Ik heb deze vervolgens geblend met Squeezed Lemonade Distress inkt. In de lucht heb ik, opnieuw, met Tumbled Glass Distress ink met behulp van het Radiating Rays stencil wat zonnestralen aangebracht.

Then I stamped and diecutted the fun images from the set. I coloured them with Copic Markers and added them to my card using dimensionals. The tree I left without dimensionals, cause I thought it would be fun adding it between my grassy hills. To finish this card I stamped the text Hop, Hop, Hooray on a leftover piece of black cardstock with Versamark ink, using white embossing powder and a heat tool.

Hierna heb ik de leuke afbeeldingen uit de set gestempeld en gestanst. Ze zijn ingekleurd met Copic Markers en op de kaart aangebracht met behulp van dimensionals. Alleen bij de boom heb ik hier niet voor gekozen, zodat deze leuk tussen de heuvels in kon vallen. Voor de finishing touch van deze kaart heb ik de tekst Hop, Hop, Hooray gestempeld op een stukje overgebleven zwart cardstock en gestempeld met Versamark inkt, bestrooid met wit embossing poeder en vervolgens verhit met een heat tool.

Stampin with Liz Design: Piggy Pebbles Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! Today I'd like to share a sweet and fun card with you! All though it has been really hot summer weather here this week, I created a fun card using the sweet little piggy in the rain from the Piggy Pebbles stamp set from Mft stamps!

Hoi allemaal! Welkom bij weer een nieuwe Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! Vandaag deel ik graag een leuke en schattige kaart met jullie! Ondanks dat we al een tijdje warm zomerweer hebben, heb ik een prachtig kaartje gemaakt met het schattige varkentje in de regen uit de Piggy Pebbles stempelset van Mft stamps!

I used a white base card in A2 size and then created a front panel that I added with dimensionals on to my base. I coloured my front panel using ink blending technique and stencils. For the grass bottom I used the Grassy Edges stencil from Mft stamps and used Twisted Citron Distress ink from Ranger. For the sky I used the Mini Cloud Stencil from Mft stamps and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink.

Ik heb voor deze kaart een witte basis genomen in A2 maat. Vervolgens heb ik een front panel gemaakt die ik met dimensionals heb aangebracht op mijn basis. Ik heb deze gekleurd met behulp van de blending techniek en stencils. Voor het grasgedeelte heb ik de Grassy Edges stencil van Mft stamps en Twisted Citron Distress inkt gebruikt, voor de lucht de Mini Cloud stencil van Mft stamps en Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inkt. 

I then added some rain drops with a Copic Marker. I stamped and diecutted the images on my card from the stamp set and coloured these with Copic Markers as well. I stamped the text on a piece of paper that I coloured with a Copic Marker first. I used Versamark ink and added white embossing powder, then heat setted it with a heat tool. I'd like to send this card in to the running challenge at Freshly Made Sketches!

Ik heb wat regendruppels aangebracht met een Copic Marker. Ik heb de afbeeldingen op mijn kaart uit de stempelset gestempeld en gestanst. Daarna heb ik ze ingekleurd met Copic Markers. Ik heb de tekst gestempeld op een strook wit cardstock, die ik eerst met een Copic Marker heb gekleurd, met Versamark ink, bestrooid met wit embossing poeder en verhit met een heat tool. Ik zend deze kaart graag in naar de lopende challenge bij Freshly Made Sketches!
