Stampin with Liz Design: First Frost - Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop!

Welkom vandaag bij de laatste Artisan Blog Hop van dit jaar! Wat heb ik een fantastisch SU jaar gehad, heel bijzonder om van het Artisan Design Team van 2018 deel uit te mogen maken. Afscheid nemen is altijd lastig natuurlijk, maar hoe beter dan met een geweldige laatste bloghop! Vandaag inspireren we jullie nog graag een keer met de First Frost stempelset in de hoofdrol!

Welcome today at the last Artisan Blog Hop of this year! I had such an amazing SU year, it's so special to be a part of the amazing Artisan Design Team of 2018! Saying goodbye is never fun of course, but a great blog last blog hop soothens that of course! Today we'd like to inspire you one last time with the First Frost stamp set in the lead!

De Frosted Floral suite vind je in de Herfst/Winter catalogus. Een hele complete set met bijpassende producten, je vind in de suite de stempelset First Frost, de Frosted Bouquet Framelits, het prachtige Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper, Cardstock en embellishments! Een prachtige complete set dus voor jou om heerlijk creatief aan de slag te kunnen!

You can find the Frosted Floral Suite in the Autumn/Winter catalog. A complete set with mathing products. There's the stamp set First Frost, the Frosted Bouquet Framelits, the gorgeous Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper, Cardstock and embellishments! So a complete set for you to start creating!

Ik heb twee kaarten met deze set gemaakt voor jullie. De basis voor beide kaarten is gemaakt van Gray Granite Cardstock. Op de voorgrond heb ik het prachtige papier uit de Design Series gebruikt. Onder dit papier vind je een subtiel randje van BlackBerry Bliss Cardstock. Beide kleuren Cardstock vind je in het Cardstock pack uit de suite.

I created two cards with this set for you all. I used Gray Granite Cardstock as a base for both of my cards. On the front of these cards I used the gorgeous paper from the Design Series. Underneath you can see a subtle border of BlackBerry Bliss Cardstock. You can find these colors cardstock in the cardstock pack of the suite.

Om mijn kaart een beetje een authentieke look te geven heb ik nog een beetje inkt in dezelfde kleur als de basis heel subtiel aangebracht op het papier met een sponsje. De bloemen, blaadjes en banner zijn allemaal uit de set. Ik heb een stukje lint achter de banner geplaatst en 2 epoxy droplets aangebracht.

To give my card a bit of a authentique look, I applied very subtle with a sponge ink in the same color as my base on the cardstock. The flowers, the leafes and banner are all from the set. I addes a piece of ribbon behind my banner and added 2 epoxy droplets. 

Mijn tweede kaart is in dezelfde stijl als de eerste kaart opgebouwd, alleen heb ik voor deze kaart meer van het prachtige design papier gebruikt. Wil jij weten welke producten ik allemaal gebruikt heb om deze twee kaarten te maken, check dan de Supply List hieronder!

Stampin with Liz Design: Here We Go A-Waddling Card!

Hi everyone! I'm showing my last Christmas card of this year with you guys today! They are so much fun to create, so it will be a tough time waiting for next year, lol! I created this fun card with the cutest Christmas penguins from the Here We Go A-Waddling stamp set from Lawn Fawn!

I stamped the penguins and lantern on to Solar White Neenah Cardstock with Black Tuxedo Memento ink and then coloured them with Copic Markers. If you are interested to see which colours I used, I will post a photo with the used markers below. I then fussy cutted the images so I can place them with dimensionals on to the finished card later.

I then blended a background using a blending tool and Squeezed Lemonade, Mermaid Lagoon, Faded Jeans and Black Soot Distress ink. I used some white paint that I added a bit of water on to spatter the background of my card to make it seem like it is snowing! I don't think we will have a white Christmas here, just love a great winter scene!

I added text and musical notes to the background by using Versamark ink and white embossing powder. Heat set this to get a nice structured white text and notes.

For the snow surface I used White Cardstock that I diecutted with the Stitched Snow Drifts Dies from MFT. I used two pieces that I placed over each other. I then diecutted my whole bakground with a Stitched Rectangle Die from MFT and placed it on to a white card base. Would you like to see how this card came about? Stampin with Liz Design: Fall Buddies Card!

Hi everyone, welcome to a new fun Blog Post today! I'm showing you guys a card today that I created with the Fall Buddies stamp set from Hello Bluebird. Al though I didn't went for the fall theme, I created a fun winter scene with this set! These cute critters with there scarfs are perfect for winter as well!

As for most of my cards, I started by creating my background first. I love setting this part of my card up first, but always with a finished picture of my project in mind. For this card I wanted snow and trees, but soft pinkish colours. I blended the background with a blending tool and Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet Distress Ink.

I added snow by using some white paint mixed with a few drops of water. You can just use a small brush to spatter the ink with on your card. I then added two trees which I diecutted with the Birch Trees Dies from MFT. I used two parts of white cardstock for the bottom part, that I diecutted with the Stitched Snow Dies from MFT as well. I diecutted the whole background piece with a Stitched Rectangle Die from MFT into card size.

I just love the sweet animals that are in this stamp set. I stamped three of these fun guys and coloured them with Copic Markers. You can see the colours I used in the photograph below.  I then fussy cutted them so I could place them with dimensionals on my card. I think there are coordinating dies for this set out there, but I'm waiting for  a Scan 'N Cut device to arrive, lol, so I didn't order the dies. Can't wait to start playing with that new toy! I added the white embossed text on dimensionals as well.
