Stampin with Liz Design: Cutieasaurus Card!

Hi everyone! Hope you all had an amazing weekend. Are you ready for some new dino inspiration? I've been playing this weekend with the MFT stamp set Cutieasaurus. It's all in the name, you can find some cute dinosaurs in this fun set. You can check the set out over at MFT stamps here. You can get this set with coordinating dies.

I started this card by using a card base from White Cardstock in A2 size. I diecutted a front panel with the largest die from the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Framelits. This framelit diecuts a scalloped frame and leaves the inside square diecutted as well. I used that square to colour with a blending tool and ink.

I started colouring by using the Grassy Edges stencil at the bottom of my card. I went over my cardstock with a blending tool and Twisted Citron Distress Ink from Ranger. I then used the same part of my stencil that I used to create the bottom on a piece of masking tape. I fussycutted this grass part, so it would make a mask over the light green, so I could create my second layer of grass using again the stencil, blending tool and now a slightly darker green to create some shading between the layers, in Peeled Paint Distress ink.

I then masked my upper grass part in the same way to add the blue sky. I used Tumbles Glass Distress ink and added sunrays with a Peacock Feathers Distress ink, which is just a tone darker, so it would stand out a bit. I used the Radiating Rays stencil for this part. I stamped the text with Black Tuxedo Memento ink in the right corner. I stamped the images, diecutted and then coloured them with Copic Markers. I added the images with dimensionals on to my card.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stamping with Liz Design: Wonderful Woodland Friends Card!

Hi, welcome (back) to my blog! I've been showing some inspiration cards this week with the new products that are available at Mft stamps for January. Today I have one more! I created this sweet card with the Wonderful Woodland Friends stamp set. The critters in this set are just so adorable!

For this card I used a white card base, and started creating a background in pink and purple colours. I thought it would give my card a nice loving touch. I used a Blending Tool and distress ink to colour my card base with, using the colours Wilted Violet and Picked Raspberry. It is bright, but if you love pink and purple, they go really well together! I added some white paint spatters to my background and created a snow underground with the Stitched Snow Drifts Dies. I used two pieces to make it a more dimensional look.

I then added a frame on top of my card base with dimensionals, which I diecutted with two different sizes Stitched Rectangle Dies. I added my stamped and diecutted images on to my card with dimensionals after colouring them with Copic Markers. I added the text stamped on black cardstock using white embossing powder to finish this sweet card.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Tweet Friends Card!

Hi there! Welcome today at a new blog post from Stampin with Liz Design! My card for today is created with the amazingly fun stamp set Tweet Friends from Mft stamps, just look at these two cuties! They are perfect to create a sweet valentine card with, you'll find two more cute birdies in this set and loads of sweet text stamps.
For this card I used a White Cardstock base. I diecutted my front with a Stitched Rectangle Die and coloured it with a Blending Tool and Distress ink from Ranger in the colours Squeezed Lemonade and Tumbled Glass. After blending I added some sunrays with the same ink colours by using the Radiating Rays Stencil.

I added grass at the bottom using a Grasse Edges Die and green cardstock. I thought it would give this card a nice and simple base for my scenery. I then added the images which I stamped and diecutted and then coloured with Copic Markers. I added text from a different stamp set, as I was looking for a small text to stamp on black cardstock using white embossing powder.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: So Much Love Card!

Hi everyone, thanks for tuning on to my blog post for today! I'm sharing a super sweet card in this post, created with some new goodies you can find over at MFT stamps! I just love the sweet gesture this adorable girl makes!

I used a base of white cardstock for this card and added the hearts paper that comes from the new Sweet Stack Paper Pad. I then diecutted a piece of white cardstock with a Stitched Rectangle Die and blended a background with a blending tool and Peacock Feathers Distress ink using a mask that I diecutted with the new Hearts Entwined Dies.

This cute girl comes from the set So Much Love. I diecutted these sweet image and coloured her with Copic Markers. I stamped the text from the same stamp set a the bottom with Black Tuxedo Memento Ink.

I thought it would be nice to create an interactive card with this sweet girl and did by using the Interactive Pull Tabs Dies and Spin & Slide Channels Dies. I placed my piece of soft blue cardstock behind my front paper just behind the created slide Channel and attached the stamped image on there with Slider Elements.

When you pull the slider element up, the image will lift up as well. I'm saving this card for my daughter, she makes the same gestures with her hands often, I'm thinking she will appreciate the fun slider effect.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!
