I started this card by using a card base from White Cardstock in A2 size. I diecutted a front panel with the largest die from the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Framelits. This framelit diecuts a scalloped frame and leaves the inside square diecutted as well. I used that square to colour with a blending tool and ink.
I started colouring by using the Grassy Edges stencil at the bottom of my card. I went over my cardstock with a blending tool and Twisted Citron Distress Ink from Ranger. I then used the same part of my stencil that I used to create the bottom on a piece of masking tape. I fussycutted this grass part, so it would make a mask over the light green, so I could create my second layer of grass using again the stencil, blending tool and now a slightly darker green to create some shading between the layers, in Peeled Paint Distress ink.
I then masked my upper grass part in the same way to add the blue sky. I used Tumbles Glass Distress ink and added sunrays with a Peacock Feathers Distress ink, which is just a tone darker, so it would stand out a bit. I used the Radiating Rays stencil for this part. I stamped the text with Black Tuxedo Memento ink in the right corner. I stamped the images, diecutted and then coloured them with Copic Markers. I added the images with dimensionals on to my card.
Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!
