I created a fun Christmas card for today's hop. For me it's the celebration of the month December, as I'm sure it is for many more of you. I used the fun stamp set and coordinating dies Signs of Santa from Stampin' Up! For sure my favourite stamp set from the Autumn/Winter catalog! The gorgeous Christmas tree and the text come from the set Snow is Glistening.

I used a Thick Whisper White card base. I just love this paper, it gives your card a nice firm base. Then I started blending my background on Whisper White cardstock, by using three colours of ink and a Stamping Sponge. I used the colors Memento Tuxedo Black, Night of Navy and Blueberry Bushel. After blending I addes some white spatter to create snow. I used White Craft refill mixed with a bit water so it will spatter nicely on your paper.

I then stamped the tree with Versamark ink on my background and sprinkled it with white embossingpowder before heat setting it with a Heat Tool. I did the same with the text on Basic Black Cardstock. I stamped and diecutted Santa and coloured him with Stampin' Blends Markers. I used a piece of Whisper White cardstock for the bottom after I diecutted it with a die from the Swirly Scribbles framelits. Make sure to check out the other amazing projects in our Blog Hop!
