Stampin with Liz Design: Stampstories Blog Hop!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampstories Blog Hop! Today a few of the ex-Artisan Team Members are hopping again, all within the Wedding Theme! Make sure to scroll down at the end of this post to see some more amazing inspiration from the other so talented Stampstories team members! I created a wedding card with the Hand Delivered stamp set for this theme!

I started this card with a base from Thick Whisper White Cardstock. I then added a piece of design paper in grey stripes. For my front panel I diecutted a piece of Whisper White Cardstock with a Stitched Rectangle Die and then sponged my background using Pool Party ink and a Stamping Sponge.

After sponging, I stamped the background with Versamark ink with the Tree Rings background stamp and then added White Embossingpowder and heatsetted this with a Heat Tool to get a nice structured look! I then added a small piece of sponged cardstock, I used Night of Navy ink for this part and added a circle which I diecutted from Smoky Slate cardstock with a Stitched Circle.

I then stamped the lady holding the wedding cake with my Stamparatus. This is a great tool to align your stamps with. Being that this image is stamped with two stamp pieces, it works just perfectly! I fussy cutted this fun image and coloured it. I wanted to create a bit of a romantic look and gently coloured my image with Smoky Slate and Night of Navy ink by using a Blender Pen.

Stampin with Liz Design: Perfectly Paired Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to my new blog post today! I'm sharing a boat full of fun today! I had a lot of colouring fun with the amazing Perfectly Paired stamp set from Stampin' Up! This stamp just needs some markers to shine, it is card filling with all the cute animals!

I started this card with a base in A2 size that I created from Thick Whisper White Cardstock. I love this stirdy cardstock as a base. I then diecutted a front panel with the largest die from the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edges Frames Die-namics from My Favorite Things.

I then blended the front panel with two colours of Distress ink, Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio, using a blending tool. This technique is so much fun. Ink up the sponge part of your blending tool and go about applying the ink to your paper with round movements. I added some spatters with Peacock Feathers ink and white paint. I added the front panel with dimensionals on to my card base.

I then stamped the image from the stamp set using a stamping tool. There are no dies coordinating with this set, I diecutted the image with my Scan' N Cut machine from Brother. I coloured the image with Copic Markers and then added the finished image with dimensionals on to my card. I'd like to send this card in to the new running challenge at Global Design Project!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Creation Station Blog Hop!

Hi everyone, welcome to a new Creation Station Blog Hop! Each month the Creation Station Team Members are hopping together. Make sure to scroll down to the end of this post hop along, today we are showing you all some amazing inspiration with the theme: Going Gingham Style!

I started my card with a base from Thick Whisper White Cardstock. I then created a front panel which I stamped with the Buffalo Check background stamp, using Blueberry Bushel ink. A very fun stamp to use for this theme!

I then created a front panel using a sticthed rectangle die and Sahara Sand Cardstock. I stamped the text Hello with the beautiful flowers surrounding on my cardstock using the Stamparatus. This amazing stamp comes from the stamp set Floral Statements from Stampin' Up. It is a challenge to get the tekst really deep black, so with a Stamparatus you can easily stamp more then once to get the best result!

I coloured the gorgeous flowers with the Stampin' Blends Markers. Because you are colouring on coloured cardstock, your colours will turn out a bit darker than when you're using white cardstock, but on Sahara Sand it will still look beautiful! I added tekst on Basic Black Cardstock with Versamark ink, using white embossingpowder. I choose a dutch tekst which means 'Mom, you are the sweetest'. This text comes from the Dutch stamp set Van Alles. A perfect Mother's day card!

Stampin with Liz Design: Creating Kindness Blog Hop!

Hi everyone! I'm so excited today to hop along with the amazing Creating Kindness Design Team as a guest designer! How fun is that? If you'd like to hop along, make sure to scroll down to the end of my post to start hopping! Theme for today's hop is negative space!

I started my card with a base from Thick Whisper White Cardstock. I then created a front panel, diecutted with a stitched rectangle die. I blended this panel with a blending tool and Balmy Blue ink. I then diecutted 6 circles out of my panel to create the negative spaces that I wanted to use for my card.

I placed dimensionals underneath my panel to let it rise a bit above my card base to accent the negative spaces even more. I then stamped some butterflies from the gorgeous Butterfly Gala stamp set using my Stamparatus and the text. There is a punch that comes with this set, but I fussycutted these fun images. I used the colours BlackBerry Bliss and Highland Heather. For the text I used Basic Black Cardstock, Versamark ink and white embossingpowder. I added some blue sequins and rhinestones to finish this fun card!
