Stampin with Liz Design: Lawn Fawn Coaster Critters Card!

Hi everyone! Hope you all enjoyed the weekend! Today I'm sharing a fun card created with the Lawn Fawn stamp set Coaster Critters. I guess you all know that feeling, I so love this brand, and so many more, but it's not doable to invest in all of the brands you like sometimes and I must admit, all though I really love Lawn Fawn, my collection isn't big yet. I will certainly try to get my hands on more sets from them, as they are amazing!

For this card I use a white card base in A 2 size (which is apapproximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and then diecutted two white pieces of cardstock with a Stitched Rectangle Die. I blended both pieces, the biggest piece with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink from Ranger and the smaller piece with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink from Ranger and Night of Navy ink from Stampin Up to get a really dark result. I thought both colours would be great together, making the stamped images that I added really pop! I used a piece of white cardtstock to create a grass underground with. I blended this with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink from Ranger, then diecutted it with a grass die, before diecutting it with the Stitched Rectangle die that I used before to make the grass a perfect fit for my blue sky part. 

I stamped the fun images from the set and diecutted them. I also stamped and diecutted a few clouds from a different stamp set that I wanted to add to my dark blue sky to give it a bit more contrast to look at. I coloured the images with Copic Markers and added them on to my card using dimensionals. I stamped the text 'Have a thrilling Birthday' underneath the fun critters on the grass part.

Stampin with Liz Design: Coaster Critters!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! It's summer holiday for our children, but in the weeks before summer started for them, they had school trips to some amusement parks. So I thought it would be fun to use the stamp set Coaster Critters from Lawn Fawn! The girls sure liked this set!

Hoi allemaal! Welkom bij weer een nieuwe Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! Inmiddels hebben de kinderen vakantie, maar voor de vakantie van start ging, waren er hier nog schoolreisjes naar pretparken. Het leek me dan ook leuk om de grappige stempsel Coaster Critters van Lawn Fawn eens te gebruiken! De meiden hier vinden hem in ieder geval erg geslaagd!

I choose to do a scalloped border for this card and placed a base card behind my front, so the borders would be still visible. I diecutted for this front panel a piece of white cardstock with the Stitched Rectangles Scalloped Edges Framelits from Mft stamps. I coloured this by using a blending tool, a stencil for the sky, the Mini Cloud Stencil from Mft and three colours ink, Tumbled Glass, Antique Linen and Twisted Citron Distress ink from Ranger.

Ik heb voor deze kaart gekozen voor een rand met scallops en daar een basis kaart achter geplakt, zodat de leuke geschubde zijkanten in beeld blijven. Ik heb een strook wit cardstock gestanst met een die van de Stitched Rectangles Scalloped Edges Framelits van Mft stamps. Ik heb deze vervolgens gekleurd met een Blending Tool, de Mini Cloud stencil van Mft stamps en drie kleuren inkt, Tumbled Glass Antique Linen en Twisted Citron Distress inkt van Ranger. 

I added some dots using Copic Markers to my background to give it a bit more structure. I then stamped the fun images from the set and diecutted them. I coloured them with Copic Markers and added them to my card using dimensionals. To finish this fun card, I added the text Enjoy the Ride on black cardstock using Versamark ink and embossing powder.

Ik heb wat stipjes aangebracht op mijn achtergrond met Copic Markers om die iets meer structuur te geven. Ik heb vervolgens de leuke afbeeldingen van de set gestempeld en gestanst en hierna ingekleurd met Copic Markers. Ik heb ze op mijn kaart aangebracht met behulp van dimensionals. Als laatste heb ik de tekst Enjoy the Ride gestempeld op zwart papier met Versamark inkt en hierna bestrooid met wit embossing poeder.
