Stampin with Liz Design: My Favorite Things Hug it Out Card!

Hi there crafters! Hope you all enjoyed your weekend! Time for some monday morning cuteness, how cute are these cuddling critters?! These adorable animals are from the Hug it Out stamp set from My Favorite Things. 

With this card I'd like to enter the new Wednesday challenge at My Favorite Things. They have an amazing sketch up this week!

I started my card with a white card base and blended a fun background on there using masking tape, to keep the bottom clean, using blue colours of Ranger Distress ink. I added loads of splatters on to my background, just using ink on a clear block, a small brush and a drop of water. 

I then stamped the fun text from the set on the bottom, Sending You a Very Big Squeeze. I added a star which I diecutted with a stitched star die from Mft, blended this in darker blue colours and then stamped, diecutted and coloured the fun image from the set. One of my favorite sets for sure!

Stampin with Liz Design: My Favorite Things Hug It Out Card!

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing another fun card I created with the new Hug it Out stamp set from My Favorite Things! These hugging cuties are so much fun! Wish we can all hug our family and friends soon too, these critters are sending you some virtual hugs today!

I started this card with a white slimline card base and then added a front panel which I diecutted with a Slimline Stitched Rectangle Die. I then stamped all the adorable critters on to my panel, starting with the three images I wanted to be up front. I then masked these and started stamping the monkey and dog and the second sheep holding a little piggie just over the masked images, so they will fall right behind them.

I then masked the last two images as well, so I could start blending a background, for which I used pink colours of Ranger Distress Oxide ink. I added loads of splatters, which I love doing! I then stamped the text from the set 'You Give the Best Hugs and I miss them' in the right corner. I then removed all the masking paper from my images, which are still clean because of masking and then coloroured these cuties with Copic Markers.

Stampin with Liz Design: My Favorite Things Hug it Out Card!

Hi there crafters! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! Today I'm sharing an adorable card created with the new stamp set Hug it Out from My Favorite Things! I so hope hugging will be a sure thing again in the near future for everyone! 

I just couldn't resist this stamp set, these critters are the cutest! I started this card with a white card base in A2 size and then added a front panel from white cardstock which I diecutted with a  die from the Stitched Rectangles Stax set. I blended a fun background on there using pink colours of Ranger Distress Oxide ink. 

I then added loads of splatters white pink and white ink to make my background just a little bit more fun! Before blending, I stamped the image of the cuddling critters already, which I masked. After blending and removing the masking tape, I coloured these cuties with Copic Markers. A one layer card it is, love doing those!
