Stampin with Liz Design: My Favorite Things Crafty Hoo Card!

Hi there crafters! Hope you all enjoyed the weekend! Sharing a fun slimline Halloween card today, created with the fun Halloween Hoo stamp set from My Favorite Things! These dressed up owls are just the cutest!

I started this card with a soft grey slimline card base and then added a front panel which I diecutted with a slimline stitched die, which I placed on a slightly bigger piece of black cardstock. I blended a fun background on there, masking a moon with masking paper that I diecutted with a circle die. I used the colours Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, Faded Jeans and Stormy Sky Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. 

I added some pieces of grass, which I blended and diecutted with a grass die and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink. I then added a tree and gate, both in spooky black, using the Haunted House and Spooky Fence dies from My Favorite Things. I stamped, fussy cutted and coloured the fun images from the stamp set and added them on to my card using dimensionals. I so like Halloween cards!

Stampin with Liz Design: My Favorite Things Halloween Hoo Card!

Hi there crafters! Today I'm excited to be sharing my first Halloween card of the year! I love creating them, so be sure to see more halloween cards coming this season! I created this card with the fun new stamp set Halloween Hoo from My Favorite Things from their new release that launched last week!

I created this fun Halloween card with the new sketch in mind from the latest MFT Sketch Challenge. A great way to introduce my new stamp set! I love the sketches fom My Favorite Things, I hope to enter more the upcoming challenges!

I started my card with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and then created a front panel in white on which I stamped the text "Howl You Doin'?" from the stamp set Boo Crew that you can also find in their new release. I added my front panel on to my card base using dimensionals and then started working on the square part. I blended a fun background on a white square, using the Mini Cloud stencil, Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet and Black Soot Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I added some white splatters to make it a bit more fun. 

I then diecutted the scary house from the Haunted House dies, also in their new release, which I blended with Black Soot ink, and added pieces of white cardstock behind the door and windows which I blended with Squeezed Lemonade and Spized Marmelade ink. I blended a piece of paper with Pumice Stone Distress ink and diecutted it with the Spooky Fence die, which is also new, lol, how many new things can you use on a new project at the same time, and diecutted a piece of grass, which I blended with Peeled Paint Distress ink. To finish this card, I stamped the fun images from the Halloween Hoo stamp set, fussy cutted them and coloured them with Copic Markers before adding them on to my card using dimensionals!
