Stampin with Liz Design: CAS on Friday Challenges!

Hi there crafters! Today we have a new challenge for you at CAS on Friday Challenges! I must admit this one was a bit of a challenge for me as well, this time the theme is to use Anything but White. For me a CAS card has a lot of white, lol, so I had to sit down and think about this one. I came up with this cute card, created with the Maverick stamp set from Hello Bluebird, completely without white!

I'm glad I started thinking outside the box, lol, sometimes you come up with ideas you really like! I used a card base for my card and started thinking about what I'd like on my front. I choose a grey striped piece of patterned paper, which I diecutted with a Stitched Rectangle die. I then stamped the text from the stamp set 'You're the Best' underneath where I wanted my images to be.

I stamped the cute bunny, the plane, two clouds and birds from the set and coloured them with Copic Markers. I then diecutted a stitched circle from Vellum and added the circle and the images on to my card using dimensionals. Pretty cute and CAS right without white?

Stampin with Liz Design: Maverick Card!

Hi my crafty friends! Today I'm just flying by to say hello! Well, that's what this fun cards says! I created this cutie with the Hello Bluebird stamp set Maverick! Did you see their amazing new release? I will for sure try to order some of those amazing sets!

Hoi allemaal! Flying by to say hello is wat deze leuke kaart zegt! Deze gave kaart heb ik gemaakt met de stempelset Maverick van Hello Bluebird! Hebben jullie de nieuwe release al gezien? Deze kwam gisteren live, zeker weten dat ik wel wat ga bestellen van deze leuke sets!

I used a white card base in A2 size. I diecutted a front panel with a large stitched rectangle die and started working on a fun background. I stamped the treeline on my card and then masked it to start blending in front and behind it. The treeline is from the stamp set Scene It from Clearly Besotted. I used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink from Ranger and the Mini Cloud stencil from Mft for the sky and used Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide ink for the grass.

Ik heb een witte kaartbasis in A2 genomen en een front panel gestanst met een grote Stitched Rectangle framelits waarop ik een leuke achtergrond heb gecreëerd. Ik heb hierop de bomen gestempeld en deze vervolgens gemasked om hierboven en onder met inkt een achtergrond te blenden. Ik heb Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inkt van Ranger en de Mini Cloud stencil van Mft gebruikt voor de lucht en Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide inkt van Ranger voor het gras.

I stamped the text from the set Maverick on to the under middle part and added some grass. I then removed the mask from the trees and started colouring them with Copic Markers. I then stamped the fun elephant and airplane, diecutted them and coloured them with Copics as well. I then added this cute pilot and his plane on to my card using dimensionals.

Ik heb de tekst uit de set Maverick in het midden onderin gestempeld en wat gras aangebracht. Hierna heb ik de mask verwijderd van de bomenlijn en deze ingekleurd met Copic Markers. Vervolgens heb ik de leuke olifant gestempeld en het vliegtuig, gestanst en deze ook gekleurd met Copics. Ik heb deze leuke piloot met zijn vliegtuig aangebracht op mijn kaart met dimensionals.

Hi everyone! Did you enjoy my last post with the cute stamps from Hello Bluebird? Well, today I'm sharing another card with this amazing brand! For today I used the fun stamp set Maverick! This is a very cute set with a plaine and four different critters that you can use to fly the plane, so much fun!

Hoi allemaal! Vonden jullie de kaart van eerder deze week leuk met de gave stempels van Hello Bluebird? Vandaag laat ik jullie graag nog een kaart met stempels van dit prachtige merk zien! Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt met de stempelset Maverick! Een hele leuke set met een vliegtuig waarin je kunt kiezen uit vier verschillende diertjes als piloot, heel gaaf!

I choose to let the plain be flown by the cute bunny! I stamped the images and diecutted these. You can place the bunny just so it will fit the drivers seat of the plane! I also stamped two clouds, birds and stars from the set and after diecutting I coloured each and every one of those with Copic Markers.

Ik heb voor deze kaart gekozen voor het schattige konijn. Ik heb de afbeeldingen gestempeld en gestanst en dan past het konijntje precies over het vliegtuig heen! Verder heb ik ook de wolken, de vogeltjes en de sterren gestempeld en na het stansen heb ik alle afbeeldingen ingekleurd met Copic Markers. 

I used Sahara Sand cardstock from Stampin' Up to create a card base with. I then created a front panel by using white cardstock that I blended. I also blended to extra pieces with Tumbled Glass and diecutted these with the Stitched Cloud Edges Die-namics from Mft stamps. I blended the sky with Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink from Ranger first and then added rays of sunlight in the colours Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmelade by using the Radiating Rays stencil from Mft stamps.

Ik heb Sahara Sand cardstock gebruikt van Stampin' Up om een basiskaart te maken. Daarna ben ik begonnen aan mijn voorkant. Ik heb een stuk wit cardstock geblend met Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink van Ranger en daarna met Mustard Seed en Spiced Marmelade Distress inkt zonnestralen aangebracht door gebruik te maken van de Radiating Rays stencil van Mft stamps. Op de voorgrond heb ik wolken aangebracht door wit cardstock te blenden met Tumbled Glass Oxide inkt van Ranger en ze te stansen met de Stitched Cloud Edges Die-namics van Mft stamps. 

I diecutted the front panel with the largest die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangle set from Mft stamps and added my panel with dimensionals on to my card base. I then added all the images with dimensionals as well. I added the text Flying by to Say (added the dots), which I stamped with Versmark ink and sprinkled with white embossing powder before heat setting this, with dimensionals on to my card to finish it off! I stamped the second part of the text within my card, Hello! I'd like to send this card in to the new challenge at Dutch Card Lovers!

Ik heb dan mijn voorkant gestanst met de grootste framelits van de Wonky Stitched Rectangle set van Mft stamps en op mijn basis kaart aangebracht met dimensionals. Daarna heb ik alle gestempelde afbeeldingen ook met dimensionals aangebracht. Ik heb de tekst Flying to by to Say (de puntjes heb ik zelf toegevoegd) gestempeld op zwart cardstock met Versamark inkt en deze bestrooid met wit embossing poeder, daarna verhit met een heat tool en met dimensionals ook aangebracht. Binnen in de kaart heb ik de tweede deel van de tekst gestempeld, Hello! Ik zend deze kaart graag in naar de nieuwe challenge bij Dutch Card Lovers!
