MFT Stamps - Sketch Challenge!

Hi there crafty friends! Welcome at a new MFT Stamps Sketch Challenge! We have a fun new sketch up for you this week, join in for a chance to win a $ 50 gift Voucher at MFT Stamps! I created a fun card with this sketch using the amazing Party Like a Pirate stamp set!

Sketch Challenges are a great way to start a card with! It's up to your creativity what to do with the elements you will find on the sketch. I always love seeing everyone's own interpretation of a sketch! I choose to create my own rectangle on my card, by drawing a red map for the pirates to find there treasure and images from my stamp set on the place where the circles are drawn.

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size and then added a white front panel, which I diecutted with the largest die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Stax. I blended a subtle blue background on there and then added another piece on which I drew the map on, tearing just borders of white paper of and blending it with ink.

I then drew a map on there and added the images from the stamp set. I stamped them of course, lol, diecutted them with the coordinating dies and then coloured them with Copic Markers. I raised the images a bit from the map, by using foam dimensionals. I then added the sentiment from the set on black cardstock to finish with!

MFT Stamps - Sketch Challenge!

Hi there crafters! Welcome to a new Sketch Challenge at MFT Stamps! Each wednesday we have a fun new sketch up, join us to have a change to win a $ 50 gift Voucher at MFT Stamps! I created a fun CAS (clean and simple) card to inspire you guys with using the amazing Party Like a Pirate stamp set!

I started this card with a white card base and then added a front panel, which I diecutted with the largest die from the A2 Wonky Stitched Rectangle Stax. I just love the stitched borders you get from these dies!

I then started blending a subtle background right behind where I wanted my star to be. I used Summer Splah ink to blend with and added loads of splatters to make it even more fun! I then blended a star with three different colours of blue ink and used the Wavy Lines Stencil to create waves on there.

I added the fun sentiment 'You're the Captain of my Heart' on to my card and two seagulls. I then stamped, diecutted and coloured the fun images from the stamp set and added them on to my card using dimensionals.

MFT Stamps - Slimline Card Challenge!

Hi there crafters! Welcome to a new Slimline Challenge at MFT Stamps! We have a fun new theme, with summer all around us, it's the perfect time to create some dreamy beach landscapes! Join us this month creating slimline cards featuring an inviting beach theme! I created a card with one of my favorite stamp sets for this challenge, the Party Like a Pirate stamp set!

 

I started this card with a white card base in slimline size, which I created from White Cardstock. I then added a piece of patterned paper to the front of my card and a front panel, which I diecutted with the stitched rectangle die from the Slimline Starter Die-namics set. I created  a fun beach theme for the cute pirates to party on!

I added a piece of sand, for which I blended white paper with ink and diecutted with the Snow Drifts Die-namics. I then added two pieces of ocean waves and blended the sky. I stamped, diecutted and coloured the fun images from the set and added them on to my card. I would love to be at the beach with this cuties!
