Stampin with Liz Design: Stampstories Blog Hop!

Hi everyone, welcome today at a new blog hop from the Stampstories team! Today all the team members are showing you some nice Spring inspiration! When I think of spring, I think of the nice, soft weather, the first Sunny days and being outside in nature! So I created a fun, soft nature card for today!

I created this card with the fun stamp set Foxy Friends! I love this fun set, I stamped these fun images and added some color on to them to create some shading for a more dimensional look with the Stampin' Blend Markers.

I used Sahara Sand Cardstock as a base for my card. For the front I diecutted a piece of Whisper White cardstock with a Stitched Rectangle Framelits and sponged my background with Coastal Cobana and Lemon Lime Twist ink. I added my images with dimensionals on to my card. I also added text with dimensionals. The text 'Jij bent lief' comes from the dutch version of the stamp set Rooted in Nature and means You are Sweet.

Make sure to hop along at all the team members pages, I'm sure they all created something amazing!
Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: You're Super Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome today at a new blog post from Stampin with Liz Design! As you probably know, I do love entering card challenges, especially sketch challenges. So when the new sketch challenge at Mft Card Challenges went live yesterday, I sat down to create a fun card!

I love using sketches as a starting point for a card. It takes you places sometimes you normally wouldn't think about when you start creating. For this card I started thinking about the layout first and then decided which stamp set I was going to use for it. Mostly I work the other way around. I then pick a stamp set and start from there.

So for this card I created a background first. I diecutted a piece of white cardstock with the largest die from the Stitched Rectangles Die-namics from Mft. I then blended my background with two colours of ink from Stampin' Up, Blueberry Bushel and Pacific Point with a blending tool. I covered the upper part with a mask that I created by diecutting post it tape with a die from the Stitched Cloud Edges, so it would leave a nice white cloudy space on top. I added some stars from the stamp set You're Super with Versamark ink and white embossing powder. I heat setted this with a heat tool.

I then diecutted white cardstock with the fun new die from the Tag Builder Blueprints 7 and blended this with a blending tool and Spun Sugar Distress ink from Ranger. I used the Radiating Rays stencil to apply rays of Sunshine by again using a blending tool and Picked Raspberry Distress ink. I used this piece as a shaker frame by placing some window sheet behind the circle and placed some sequins behind this, attaching it with dimensionals on to my card.

I then stamped and diecutted the cute Super Girl from the stamp se You're Super and started colouring my image with Copic Markers. You can see which markers I used in the photo below. I stamped the city image twice and fussy cutted this image to place at the bottom of my card, diecutting is first with the same stitched rectangle die to make it fit my background perfectly. To finish this fun card, I stamped the tekst 'Never Fear, Your Birthday is Here' that came from the stamp set Super Dog. I used black cardstock and Versamark ink and white embossing powder for this as well. I just love the embossed touch!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: So Foxy Card!

Welcome today to a new Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! I'm sharing a simple card today, but a cute one! Check out the Video Tutorial for this card at the end of my post!

I used the super cute stamp set So Foxy from Neat & Tangled.  I started with a white base for my card, A2 size which I blended with a blending tool and Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide ink at the bottom of my card. I then used the Whimsical Woodgrain Background stamp from My Favorite Things with the same ink color.

I then added a white front panel that I diecutted at the bottom with a die from the Stitched Scallop Basic Edges Die-namics from Mft. I blended the area behind the fox with a blending tool and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink from Ranger.

I then stamped and diecutted the cute fox from the stamp set. I use Solar White Neenah Cardstock for colouring with Copic Markers. I stamped the text For My Foxy Friend after colouring. Would you like to see how this card came about? Check the Video Tutorial below, or watch in HD on YouTube! I would love it if you'd leave a thumbs up or follow my YouTube Channel!

Stampin with Liz Design: Swinging By!

Hi everyone! I'm sharing a new card today, a very cute one I think! I found this very sweet stamp at Neat & Tangled, this small stamp set is called Swinging By!

I created a background for my card first. I used thick white cardstock as a base, in A2 size. I created a skyline by using the Mft Cloud stencil and Tumbles Glass Distress Oxide ink from Ranger that I applied with a sponging tool. I created a grass part on which the Elephant stands with Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide ink. I stamped the grass stamps from the set at the top of my sponged underground to give it a more detailed look.

I added some spatters in a dark yellow colour, I used Mango Melody ink for this part from Stampin' Up. I added the text in the upper middle of this card. I stamped it with Versamark ink and applied gold embossing powder on top. Once you heat set this with a heat tool, you get a nice structured text!

I then stamped my vocal point for this card, the super cute Elephant and swinging girl! Isn't this just a very sweet image? I like stamping and colouring on Solar White Neenah cardstock. I diecutted my image with my Scan 'N Cut machine from Brother, but there are also framelits available for this set. I coloured these cuties with Copic markers and added my image with dimensionals on to my card.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Creation Station Blog Hop!

Hi everyone, welcome to a new Creation Station Blog Hop! We are hopping again today, each first sunday of the month. Today's theme is Birds, Blossoms and Butterflies, so get ready! I choose one of these fun things and went with the butterflies from the Butterfly Gala stamp set from Stampin' Up!

For this card I used a base from thick Whisper White Cardstock in A2 size. I just love the thicker paper, it gives your card such a steady base! I blended a background with Pool Party ink and a Stampin Sponge. I added some spatters with Bermuda Bay ink to make the background pop a bit more!

I added the text Thank You So Very Much in the upper middle using Versamark ink and Gold Embossing Powder. Just heat set this and you will get a fun structured tekst! I then added three butterflies from the stamp set, which I fussy cutted to nog get white borders. I coloured them with the Pool Party and Bermuda Bay Stampin Blend Markers and added some gold glitter to the sides.

Are you hopping along with us? You can check out much more inspiration by clicking on the next button below, have fun! Next is the lovely Denita!
