Stampin with Liz Design: Birthday Bear & Friends Card!

Welcome! It's time for a new Blog Post today! Today I'm showing a sweet birthday card, you can never have to many of these stashed, right? I hate creating on the spot when a birthday comes up, so I make sure I just have some laying around when the occassion arrises! For today's card I used the Mft stamps set Birthday Bear & Friends!

Aren't these fellows cute? I started my card with a white card base in A2 size. I than created a front panel from white cardstock that I diecutted with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die-namics from My Favorite Things. I stamped the tekst in the middle at the top of my card, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I then blended a sky and bottom softly with Tumbled Glass and Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink from Ranger.

I stamped the four critters, balloon and gift packages on Solar White Neenah Cardstock, which is amazing to use with Copic Markers. I diecutted the images with the coordinating Birthday Bear & Friends Die-namics. I loe when there are matching dies! Although I must admit, I love fussy cutting too and I did buy me a Scan 'N Cut machine from Brother, so there is a choice, lol!

I coloured the images with Copic Markers. I wanted to create a soft card, so I kept this in mind chosing my Copic colours. Don't you just love Copic Markers? They come in so many different colours, so there is always the right colour to choose! I added my images to my card with dimensionals, except for the gift packages, to keep it a bit more diverse! Just a simple, sweet and soft toned card!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Happy Birthday Blend!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! I have another fun card for you today to share! Keeping it in spring colours, spring is arriving in the Netherlands, so excited, I just love this time of year. The sun is out, flowers starting to grow, I'm enjoying it all. I created a card today with a color scheme that is up at the Mft Card Challenges this week!

I started this card with the colors of the challenge in mind, using a white card base of some thicker white cardstock.I then added a front panel that I diecutted with the largest die from the Stitched Rectangles die-namics from Mft stamps. I blended this white cardstock in two colors of Ranger Distress ink, Picked Raspberry and Mustard Seed.

I then added some dots using the same colours ink and a white ink pad, a blending tool and the Confetti Stencil Set from Mft stamps. I used the stencil set for my card that I showed you guys yesterday as well, love this set! To give this background just a little bit more umph I also added some small spatters, using the Picked Raspberry ink.

I then stamped the tekst Happy Birthday with two colours of ink from Stampin Up, Melon Mambo and Lemon Lime Twist. The tekst comes from the fun Mft stamp Happy Birthday Blend, which contains two words that you can build up in two colours, so much fun! You can buy it with the coordinating Happy Birthday Blend Die-namics. After diecutting my image, I added it with dimensionals on to my card. I then stamped the fun raccoon, balloons, gifts and the sweetest little bird from the Mft stamp set Birthday Bear & Friends. I coloured them with Copic Markers and added them with dimensionals to finish my card after diecutting. A super sweet card, isn't it?

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Birthday Bear & Friends Card!

Hi everyone! It's finally time to show you guys a new fun card! I had a little stamping break last week, the kids had a school holiday and we did loads of things together, so stamping came a bit on a back burner. But today school started again, so I finally had time to sit down this morning to create something. I went for a simple, but fun card!

I started my card by cutting a card base from white cardstock. I like to use A2 card sizes, so this card measures 14 x 21.6 cm. I then dieutted a cute piece of design paper from Sugar Pea Designs (Happy Camper Paper Pad) with the Wonky Stitched Rectangles Die-namics from Mft, that has a whole fun scenery on it!

I kept this card very simple, the scenery al ready is just gorgeous and doesn't need much added. I added the cute little fox, text and balloons which you can find in the Mft stamp set Birthday Bear & Friends. I used my Scan 'N Cut machine to diecut the images, but you can of course use the coorindinating Birthday Bear & Friends Die-namics.

I coloured my images with Copic Markers and placed them on to my card using dimensionals, so they would pop a bit more. I added the text that I stamped on black cardstock also with dimensionals on to my card. Just a simple card, but so cute!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!
