Stampin with Liz Design: Magengo Designs Let's Make Yoga Card!

Hi there crafters! Today I'm back over at the Magengo Designs blog with a new, fun card! This card is all about feeling good! Enjoying a relaxing birthday on a deserted beach really sounds great to me, lol, these two adorable hippo's are wishing you a happy birthday in the sun!

These cuties are from the Let's Make Yoga stamp set, you can find more fun hippo's in this amazing stamp set doing mostly yoga poses! I thought it would be fun to stage these adorable hippo's at the beach though. I used a white card base for this card in A2 size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and added a front panel on which I created a fun beach scene. I used a stamp set from Clearly Besotted stamps to create the palm trees and water and then masked this part to blend the beach and sky with ink.

I used Antique Linen for the sand and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink from Ranger for the sky. I added some dots on the sand, just to give this part a bit more texture. I coloured the palm trees and water with Copic Markers and then started working on the cute hippo's! I printed these fun guys and the text from the set, fussy cutted them and then started working on colouring these fun images. I added my front panel with dimensionals on to my card base and then also added the printed images with dimensionals to make this card even more fun!

I hope you enjoyed their fun birthday wish, thanks for watching, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Magengo Designs It's Your Birthday Card!

Hi everyone! Today I'm over at the Magengo Designs blog with a fun and adorable birthday card! This card is all about cake and rhino's, aren't these guys adorable? They are from the stamp set It's Your Birthday!

These guys really know how to party, they are so much fun! I kept this card pretty clean and let these cuties shine on their own! I used a white card base in A2 size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and added a front panel that I diecutted with a Stitched Rectangle die. I then blended a fun background on to my front panel, but keeping it simple. I added some clouds with the Mini Cloud stencil and added a sand underground beneath, using a bit of masking tape, a blending tool and Mermaid Lagoon and Antique Linen Ranger Distress Oxide ink.

Then I printed and fussycutted the fun images from the set. I coloured the cuties with their cake with Copic Markers. I stamped a text just underneath, which came from a stamp set I had laying around, but thought the text was really fun underneath the cake image! I staged the images on to my front panel, using dimensionals to add these cuties. I also added the front panel with dimensionals, which gives this card a really fun layered look!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Magengo Designs Koala Card!

Hi everyone! Today I'm over at the Magengo Designs blog again with a fun, adorable card! Rana designed two beautiful stamp sets with koala's in them, and for this card I combined both sets, the Love You Mom set and the Our Special Moments set! Aren't these little koala's the cutest?

I started this card with a soft blue card base in A2 size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). I stamped a few leaves on my background in a slightly darker blue tone. I repeated stamping two leafe images all over the borders of my card base. I then started working on a fun front panel. I used a postage die to create a front, which I then started blending with a blending tool, Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I started with the Worn Lipstick colour, which is slightly darker then the Spun Sugar ink, on the bottom and then worked my way up with the lighter ink. I added some spatters to make my background just a bit more interesting.

I so love these fun images, I printed the two koala's with their brenches from the Our Special Moments set and the sweetest image of the mother koala and her baby from the Love You Mom set. I fussy cutted all these images and then coloured them with Copic Markers. I also printed tekst, which comes from the set Our Special Moments. I added al my printed images, as my front panel with dimensionals on to my card!

I hope you enjoyed today's koala fun! Thanks for watching, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Magengo Designs Happy Sheep Card!

Hi there crafters! Today I'm over at the Magengo Designs blog with a fun, new birthday card! You can never have to many birthday cards in stock, right? I like to have a few cards laying around just in case! I used the adorable stamp set Happy Sheep for my card for today! You will find a few different sheep in this set having fun, I choose the adorable one sitting with a cute birthday hat on for this card!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and added a front panel with dimensionals after creating a fun scene on there. I used a Stitched Rectangle die to diecut my front panel and then started blending a fun cloud background on this piece of white cardstock. I used the Mini Cloud stencil, Mermaid Lagoon Ranger Distress Oxide ink and a blending tool to create a fun sky. You can almost feel the sun shining through these bright clouds!

I then printed the fun images from this digital set and fussycutted them. I coloured the images with Copic Markers and then started working on a bottom part for my scene. I diecutted another piece of white cardstock with the same Stitched Rectangle die that I used before and then diecutted it again, now with a Grass die. I then blended this part with a blending tool and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I wanted to raise this part and placed the gate just right behind the grass, to also lift it from the background together with the balloons. I then placed the adorable birthday sheep on the straw in front of the grass and gates and added the text!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

This gorgeous stamp set came out yesterday, you can find it in Isabel's shop here! Her stamps are digital, so easy to use, just print them, fussycut or diecut them and get started! You can find a lot more bunnies in this set than I used on my card, and the gorgeous text I used!

I blended a background for this valentine card in a soft pint colour, using Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I then printed the text on my coloured paper and started working on colouring the letters from the word 'Love' with Copic Markers. I added some spatters and Nuvo drops on to my card and the cute bunnies! I coloured them with Copic Markers and added these two in love on to my card using dimensionals!
