Stampin with Liz Design: Magengo Designs No More Cheese Card!

Hi everyone! Today I'm over at the Magengo Designs blog with a new fun Birthday card! We can never have too many birthday cards laying around, right? I created this fun card with the No More Cheese stamp set!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). I then diecutted a front panel with a Stitched Rectangle die from white cardstock. I blended a fun background in pink colours. I used the Star Grid Stencil from Mft stamps for the bottom part of my card and coloured this part with a blending tool and Tattered Rose Distress Oxide ink from Ranger.

I used masking tape to create the two lower layers of colour, I used Vintage Photo and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink for these parts. I added some pink splatters to the bottom. I then printed, fussy cutted and coloured the fun images from the digital stamp set and added them on to my card using dimensionals. I added a diecutted text Happy and a printed birthday to finish this fun card with!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time! Stay safe everyone!

Stampin with Liz Design: Magengo Designs Let's Make Yoga Card!

Hi there crafters! Today I'm back over at the Magengo Designs blog with a new, fun card! This card is all about feeling good! Enjoying a relaxing birthday on a deserted beach really sounds great to me, lol, these two adorable hippo's are wishing you a happy birthday in the sun!

These cuties are from the Let's Make Yoga stamp set, you can find more fun hippo's in this amazing stamp set doing mostly yoga poses! I thought it would be fun to stage these adorable hippo's at the beach though. I used a white card base for this card in A2 size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and added a front panel on which I created a fun beach scene. I used a stamp set from Clearly Besotted stamps to create the palm trees and water and then masked this part to blend the beach and sky with ink.

I used Antique Linen for the sand and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink from Ranger for the sky. I added some dots on the sand, just to give this part a bit more texture. I coloured the palm trees and water with Copic Markers and then started working on the cute hippo's! I printed these fun guys and the text from the set, fussy cutted them and then started working on colouring these fun images. I added my front panel with dimensionals on to my card base and then also added the printed images with dimensionals to make this card even more fun!

I hope you enjoyed their fun birthday wish, thanks for watching, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Magengo Designs It's Your Birthday Card!

Hi everyone! Today I'm over at the Magengo Designs blog with a fun and adorable birthday card! This card is all about cake and rhino's, aren't these guys adorable? They are from the stamp set It's Your Birthday!

These guys really know how to party, they are so much fun! I kept this card pretty clean and let these cuties shine on their own! I used a white card base in A2 size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and added a front panel that I diecutted with a Stitched Rectangle die. I then blended a fun background on to my front panel, but keeping it simple. I added some clouds with the Mini Cloud stencil and added a sand underground beneath, using a bit of masking tape, a blending tool and Mermaid Lagoon and Antique Linen Ranger Distress Oxide ink.

Then I printed and fussycutted the fun images from the set. I coloured the cuties with their cake with Copic Markers. I stamped a text just underneath, which came from a stamp set I had laying around, but thought the text was really fun underneath the cake image! I staged the images on to my front panel, using dimensionals to add these cuties. I also added the front panel with dimensionals, which gives this card a really fun layered look!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Magengo Designs Koala Card!

Hi everyone! Today I'm over at the Magengo Designs blog again with a fun, adorable card! Rana designed two beautiful stamp sets with koala's in them, and for this card I combined both sets, the Love You Mom set and the Our Special Moments set! Aren't these little koala's the cutest?

I started this card with a soft blue card base in A2 size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). I stamped a few leaves on my background in a slightly darker blue tone. I repeated stamping two leafe images all over the borders of my card base. I then started working on a fun front panel. I used a postage die to create a front, which I then started blending with a blending tool, Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I started with the Worn Lipstick colour, which is slightly darker then the Spun Sugar ink, on the bottom and then worked my way up with the lighter ink. I added some spatters to make my background just a bit more interesting.

I so love these fun images, I printed the two koala's with their brenches from the Our Special Moments set and the sweetest image of the mother koala and her baby from the Love You Mom set. I fussy cutted all these images and then coloured them with Copic Markers. I also printed tekst, which comes from the set Our Special Moments. I added al my printed images, as my front panel with dimensionals on to my card!

I hope you enjoyed today's koala fun! Thanks for watching, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Magengo Designs Eat Healthy Card!

Hi everyone! Today I'm over at the Magengo Designs blog with a new, fun card! In these weird times staying healthy is all that matters, so eating healthy is a good way of taking care of yourself! Rana created a fun stamp set with all healthy vegetables for the latest Magengo Designs release, called Eat Healthy, this card is all about making eating vegetables more fun, aren't they cute? Imagine these fun cuties on your plate!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size (which is aproximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/5") and masked the sides of my card to keep nice clean white borders before I started working on my scene. I thought it would be fun to create a vegetable garden, where these cuties would be growing!

I blended the grass part at the bottom first. I diecutted masking tape with a grass die and used the upper part to blend my grass with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink. I then used the bottom part to mask my grass and started stamping the sand with a fun stamp I had laying around. After stamping I removed the masking tape, to start colouring my sand in brown colours with Copic Markers, just colouring around my blended grass. Then I blended the upper grass part in the same way and blended the sky with a cloud stencil and Broken China Distress Oxide ink. I printed the fun images from the set, coloured them with Copic Makers and added them on to my card using dimensionals. I added the fun text 'You're the salt to my salad' with dimensionals as well to finish this fun card with!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time! Stay safe everyone!
