Stampin with Liz Design: Jane's Doodles Blog Hop!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Jane's Doodles Blog Hop! Today the amazing team from Jane's Doodles is sharing some great inspiration with the lastest release! If you'd like to hop with us, check the links at the end of this post! I created a fun birthday card with the new stamp set Spring Icons!

This amazing new stamp set contains a lot of small spring/easter images, truly fun! I started this card using a white card base in A2 size (which is apapproximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and adhered a piece of design paper in soft pink with dots on my base. I then diecutted a piece of white cardstock with a Scalloped Stitched Rectangle die and created a fun scene on a piece of white cardstock which matches excactly the size of the rectangle inside my frame.

I blended a background with two colours of Ranger Distress Oxide ink, Mowed Lawn and Broken China. I added some green ink spatters and water drops on to this piece of paper, to make my background look a bit more interesting. I added the text from the set 'Hello Spring' and then stamped a few of the fun images from the set. I fussy cutted these and coloured them with Copic Markers before adding them with dimensionals on to this fun spring/easter card!
